GiveGrass Training 5/26/2017 Client Horse - Fleet Sasha

Sasha (racing name Fleet Sasha) is our latest horse in training at the ranch. She's a 3yo OTTB and her owners have asked Susanne to do what she does best - bridge the gap between the racehorse and sport horse world. Most people don't realize what goes into teaching a horse simple things like learning how to stand at the mounting block, how to lead properly without a chain, and be comfortable with the noise and commotion of a horse show.
So far Sasha is sweet and not bothered by much, but we'll see once we start asking her to work. The best of us always comes out in the board room. 🤓

Last years peach crop = 60 jars of peach jam, 4 quart jars of pickled peaches, 8 prepared frozen fruit for pies, and all the fresh peaches we could eat. This tree is amazing!!

Registration for GiveGrass Ranch Summer Camp is officially open. We had a blast last year, and can't wait to do it again. Kids learn what it's like to live on a real horse ranch. They ride horses, pick their own food, drive tractors, and swim in the pool.
