I made the decision to get ready for a show at the beginning of this year.⁣

Competing had been a dream I had already given up on but I’m glad I made the decision to compete because it changed my life forever. ⁣
⁣
Not only did I change my physique, I also gained knowledge, developed self compassion and learned to trust the process.⁣
⁣
I met amazing people who shared the same dream and the ambiance backstage made me feel very welcomed.⁣
⁣
Alfredo and Giselle were amazing the entire time, they answered every question I had and made this experience unforgettable.⁣
⁣
It’s never too late to pursue your dream! It’s scary, it’s intimidating but the experience will forever change your life in a positive way and you will realize you had it in you despite all of your self doubt.⁣

It’s not an easy path to take and it will challenge you all the way until show time but I can assure you is worth it you will grow each step of the way. ⁣

I would like to share my experience at the River City Classic 2 this past July 6th, 2019. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It was my very first time competing in the Novice Bikini Tall class in where I received first place. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It was a beautiful emotional experience and my tears on stage showed it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The reason for the sweat and tears throughout prep all until show day is dedicated to my 10 year old son he believed I could be a great bodybuilder. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
He was the reason for my motivation and my biggest fan and I could not give up as challenging as it was.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I also appreciate promoter and coach Alfredo Gaeta for guiding me and helping me with my transformation and words of advice and motivation day in and day out. ⁣⁣

I would also like to thank my family and friends who were also my biggest supporters and we’re rooting for me throughout prep and show day.⁣⁣

The River City Classic 2 was a great show for first time competitors.⁣
The River City Classic 3 will be a great show for those who plan on competing at other shows during the bodybuilding season.⁣

The River City Classic 2 was my first physique competition ever. ⁣

I actually went to the first river city classic as an audience member just supporting a friend and after seeing what he and the other athletes brought to the stage, it influenced me to compete as well. ⁣

On the day of the show, everyone was so welcoming from start to finish. ⁣
⁣
Yes, everyone had that competitive aspect in mind but back stage it was like spending time with family. ⁣
⁣
The whole event was planned very well and I am excited to step onto the stage next year!⁣

Watching my parents compete in bodybuilding shows when I was a child, I never would have imagined that would be me ages out!⁣

On the day of the show I was nervous, scared and extremely excited all at the same time.⁣
All I could think was I have to do this for my mom because I want to make her proud. ⁣

Competing in the River City Classic 2 was one of my best experiences in my entire life! ⁣
⁣
Good People make for a great show! ⁣
In this case, the competitors were phenomenal and friendly. ⁣
The staff treated us like family. ⁣
⁣
The power couple of Alfredo and Giselle just made everything gel together perfectly.⁣
⁣
I have only good things to say about my first competition from beginning to end.⁣
⁣
Even when it was stressful it was fun!⁣
⁣
I remember doubting myself and thinking there is absolute no way I’m getting on that stage! ⁣
⁣
Once the line up was going all of those thoughts were gone.. it was showtime! ⁣
⁣
I left it all on the stage. ⁣
⁣
Everything I had in me, I poured it into entertainment that made beautiful art.⁣
⁣
I say that to say, we are working hard day in, day out. ⁣
⁣
This is our day to show who we are, what we do and how we have fun doing it! ⁣

All of our hard work turns into beautiful art that the world will get to enjoy.⁣

2019 River City Classic was my first ever body building competition. ⁣

All the staff, backstage coaches and competitors were extremely welcoming, helpful and encouraging. ⁣

This was an incredible experience and I could not have asked for a better show to start my body building career.⁣
