Twenty-two years ago, I was the pregnant teen intern. This week, I'll be the panel speaker 🫠

As a Latina who's built a 22-year career in the legal industry while also growing a career coaching business rooted in purpose y comunidad over the last two years... this moment is extra close to my corazón. ♡

One thing I've learned? Your skills don't have to stay in one lane.

In 2004, I walked into this profession as a SCALL pregnant teen intern, eager to learn and simply hoping for an opportunity. This week, I'm walking onto a national conference stage as a panel speaker. 🥹 What a full-circle moment!!

The last two decades have been my foundation: learning, growing, and sharpening skills that have opened doors to leadership, speaking, consulting, entrepreneurship, and opportunities I never imagined.

I'm so emocionada to have my two worlds collide: legal + entrepreneurship, and to share my journey, lessons, challenges & wins + accesible resources with peers who've watched me grow over the years.

I'll be taking the stage in Cleveland at the AALL Annual Meeting American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) to share how the professional skills we build daily can create a career that's bigger than the job title on our business card.

This one is for the intern I used to be... and for every first-gen professional wondering if they belong in the room.

What made you feel Good & Cozy in your last Season? 🎀

GRWM + a little life update & sharing whats been brewing with the collab!

I gently closed out the season of that year and said hellooo hello to a new one.

I took time to reflect with grace. The wins. The setbacks. The things I dreamed of doing but did not get to (yet!). My highest highs, like my kiddo turning 21 and booking my first PAID speaking gig. And my low lows, like transitioning in my own career and learning to navigate new spaces that honestly felt scary.

I am claiming 2025 as my beautiful challenge. It stretched me in every direction, but it also gave me permission to slow down in ways I never allowed myself before.

As I step into 2026, I am carrying a permission slip to keep resting and to truly prioritize my wellness ♡
