Plot twist: the girl who once had NO idea what she was doing on LinkedIn is now teaching you how to use it. 😂💅🏽

When I first started building my professional career, I was a proud pregnant teen mom + navigating the coporate world solo.

I was figuring out how build relationships, advocate for myself, and look like I knew what I was doing while secretly Googling half the things. 😂

And LinkedIn? Let’s just say… she and I have grown together. 😅

Now, after years of building my own professional brand AND helping other first-gen professionals and WOC do the same, I’m bringing those lessons to the She Can Rise Career Summit. ✨

In my workshop, we’re getting REAL about how to use LinkedIn to strengthen:

→ Building a professional brand that actually feels like YOU
→ Showing up online with more confidence
→ Using LinkedIn to create real career opportunities

Because your LinkedIn shouldn’t just say where you work...it should reflect you holistically ♡

It should tell people why they should know you.

So amiga, if you’ve been saying “I really need to update my LinkedIn…”

THIS IS YOUR SIGN.

🎟️ Early Bird tickets:
$45 (regularly $55) through 8/21 with code EARLY.

Students: $25

Twenty-two years ago, I was the pregnant teen intern. This week, I'll be the panel speaker 🫠

As a Latina who's built a 22-year career in the legal industry while also growing a career coaching business rooted in purpose y comunidad over the last two years... this moment is extra close to my corazón. ♡

One thing I've learned? Your skills don't have to stay in one lane.

In 2004, I walked into this profession as a SCALL pregnant teen intern, eager to learn and simply hoping for an opportunity. This week, I'm walking onto a national conference stage as a panel speaker. 🥹 What a full-circle moment!!

The last two decades have been my foundation: learning, growing, and sharpening skills that have opened doors to leadership, speaking, consulting, entrepreneurship, and opportunities I never imagined.

I'm so emocionada to have my two worlds collide: legal + entrepreneurship, and to share my journey, lessons, challenges & wins + accesible resources with peers who've watched me grow over the years.

I'll be taking the stage in Cleveland at the AALL Annual Meeting American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) to share how the professional skills we build daily can create a career that's bigger than the job title on our business card.

This one is for the intern I used to be... and for every first-gen professional wondering if they belong in the room.

You do.
Siempre. 🌼

Hola hola, I’m Daisy! First-gen everything, proud Latina, legal industry vet turned professional development coach, and your biggest HYPE woman when it comes to owning your story 👯‍♀️

I am the proud Owner & Founder of Dayz & Co., a career coaching firm based out of SoCal.

I built Dayz & Co. because after navigating corporate law firms at the tender age of 18.... I know what it feels like to walk into rooms where you’re underestimated, overlooked, or written off. I’ve been the single teen mom, the intern, the one figuring it out as I went. And I’ve also been the one who refused to shrink, kept showing up, and turned doubt into drive ♡ I have also worn the hat of comunidad builder, mental health advocate, UX manager, Hugger, y mas!

For the last 15+ years, I've guided first-gen students and professionals do the same...
We talk confidence.
Career growth.
LinkedIn Scaries.
Personal branding.
And learning how to take up space without apologizing for it!

A few little get to know me cositas 🤍

• I love a good true crime podcast. Like… once I'm hooked, I LOVE!
• I collect Navidad ornaments from my travels and each one has a story 🎀
• I recently discovered R&B yoga and I’m obsessed!
• I printed my very first resume at my hometown public library. Full circle moment every time I think about it 🥲
• Travel is my therapy (pero real talk, therapy is also my therapy).
• I’m fueled by good energy, purpose, and a good-color-coded calendar!
• I will always root for the next generation of Daisies, especially first-gen dreamers!!

Aqui, we believe your story is your superpower ♡
Your background is not a setback, its whats sets you apart!
And showing up as YOUR authetic self is the strategy.

If you’re new here, bienvenida ✨
If you’ve been jamming with me, I’m so glad you’re still here.

Tell me in the comments, are you a first-gen professional, student, or both?

✨ Gracias, mis hermosas Latinas ✨
Still soaking in all the love from our In My Boss & Chic Era Vision Board event. Being in a room full of powerful, dreamy, determined Latinas reminded me why I do this. Your energy, your stories, your ganas, I LOVE IT ALL! 🫶🏽

Thank you for showing up for you, your future selves, and for each other. This wasn’t just a vision board experience, it was a reminder that we are allowed to want more and actually go after it. SO proud of you. This is just the beginning of your Boss & Chic era 💅🏽✨
