[03/07/20] Thank you, everyone, for your support along our journey. We appreciate all of you. But the time has come to close this chapter. We are selling off the animals and bowing out.
[10/06/19] Time to get back to soaps and lotions (made from milk). What are some of your favorite scents?!
A little bit of what we've been up to lately. 😁
This slow motion perfection is a good representation of how long it feels like I've been waiting to make this. 🤤
The health benefits of raw milk outway the fact I used Hershey's Chocolate to make chocolate milk, right? 🤔 Best chocolate milk ever!
Look what we have now! I'm so ecstatic! I have missed raw milk so much. Not to mention the caramel I'll be making again along with cheeses and butter!
Also..... herd shares! Keep watch for more information on that. I've got lots of people asking about it already. It's on the list!
Little girl just loves to harass "Grandma Red" all the time.

I don't usually use blankets, but he sure is thankful for getting to borrow this one.
Well, good morning handsome little man. Curious and loving. Almost even craved the attention it seemed. 💜💜
He even has the Country baby signature.... one blue eye!
Just a little exuberance this morning. 💜🐐
This sweet boy will be available around the end of October! He will have registration papers sent in by then. I've included both Poco and Cadet's papers in this post.
Our wonderful neighbor, Brenda, is helping us all out! On our way to Texas now!
I had this on my personal page, but it was suggested I do this here as well. Thanks for reading.
I know this is a long shot, but is there anyone with at least a 3/4 ton truck with a gooseneck setup that would be able to make a run or two or let me borrow their truck? I need to be able to move a 4 horse gooseneck trailer up from Texas to where I am now in Michigan. One load of horses and one load of stuff unless I can get a moving truck for the stuff. Please, if anyone is able to help, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm running out of time.
And there she goes. Frosty is on her way to her new home, along with a couple goats, in Arkansas. Enjoy this sweetheart of a horse!
UPDATE: The horses (and the truck) will be getting back to Kaufman today! We are so thankful to the people who were able to step in to help in this stressful (more so for Jim and Mike) time in need. We are even thankful to those who shared our post. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
UPDATE: We were able to get the horses hauled to Circle J Cowboy Church back in Texarkana.
- a huge Thank you to those involved in helping us get horses to a safe place while we iron out details on how to get the truck to Dallas for repairs and horses rest the way back home.
EMERGENCY: Jim is stuck just inside Arkansas at a Love's on 30. We are looking for anyone who may know someone to help us out with a truck to haul a 4-horse gooseneck trailer. Please share this around. Tbe trailer is full of horses including a foal. Call Jim at 2318868602. Please and thank you!

🐣Lavender Orpington hatching eggs reduced to $25 per dozen
🐣Easter Egger/ Frizzle hatching eggs $15 per dozen
🐥🐥We still have some mixed, EE, Mille Cochin bantams at the $3 per chick price
Thank you, everyone!
Poco's first ride after her baby has been born. I couldn't have been happier. And I just love her "what baby" type of attitute.
It's his Jim's birthday month! To celebrate, we are selling chicks still in cages on the sell list at $3 per chick. This includes Mille cochin bantams and Frizzles! We also have two male Legbar chicks. All others are sold as straight run. Most will be EE, but they are all mixed topped by our Ameraucana rooster.
Happy 3rd birthday Barbie! I hear she is doing so well!
17 Crested Cream Legbar and 25 Lavender Orpington eggs just set in the incubator!
Unfortunately, Frosty (AQHA Fortee Frosty King) is for sale. She has been started, but I would not claim her to be green-broke. At no fault of her own, she repeatedly got put on the back burner. I haven't been up on her since last summer. She has jumper prospect, but could really go in any direction you want to take her. She's a pretty mover. She's possibly bred to Cadet for a March/April 2019 foal. Now asking 900.
Who remembers Frosty as just a little thing? She's growing up and doing awesome! This is her first time with anyone on her back. She acted like a pro. Even didn't care about me mounting up from the incorrect side. She will be a lesson horse in no time!
Another training session comes to end as we say "see you later" to this beautiful mare. She's come a long way and going home a completely different horse than she was when she got here.
🐣🐣Hatching eggs available🐣🐣
💜Lavender Orpington - Forty per dozen.
💛Mille/Cochin bantams - Forty per dozen.
💙Easter Egger possibly frizzled - Fifteen per dozen.
We finally have turkeys! Here's hoping they're not all the same gender so these guys can be a starter flock.
[06/10/18] We had an awesome time at the East Texas Poultry Trade Days in Gilmer, TX today. We will definitely be back in September!
This is our first time trying something like this out. So excited! We hope to see some of you out there tomorrow!
We will have laying hens (under a year old), roosters, chicks, hatching eggs, a guinea hen, rabbits, and some goats!
Look at the cuteness! This isn't even all of them yet. 🐣🐥
We are having some technical difficulties, so these guys got to come out before the whole hatch is done. We are thrilled so far!
It's the beginning of hatch day! I'm super excited about this hatch. This is the first one we've got Legbars, Lavender Orpingtons, and Frizzles in (although we do believe a broody hen hatched a Frizzle the other day)! 😮
Hatched May 27th Millie/Cochin bantams and an EE. $4 for the EE, $10 for Millie/Cochins. Adults pictured for reference only.
[05/30/18] We have edited the pinned post with numbers currently in the incubator. We've added Lavender Orpingtons to the list! Please let us know if you'd like to be put on the waiting list. 🐣🐣🐣
One of our nontraditional livestock dogs doing what he does after a long night of keeping the coyotes away.
One Marans (maybe two) from our breeding flock is laying darker eggs than the others (still not the color I was told they would be). The flock is no longer for sale until I can sort them out. But I will be hatching those darker eggs.
