Under the lights last night at Nicholson Speedway did not disappoint. First sorry for only a few photos this race was all Sara and Dad because Mom and Jacob were at home because he wasn't feeling well and Poppop and Mommom were on vacation. Sara has been pushing all season long to get better and tonight she showed up. She started pole finished p2. Heat 2 came and with a bad start ended in p3. Had work to do for the feature. At the start was able to come out in 2nd and battle for first. Found the right corner and took the lead. Held it to the finish for the win. It felt amazing to be on top of the podium!

Yesterday was a great day back at Oreville. It was exciting because I believe this was one of the biggest groups this year it has had. Total of 7 karts. Started the heat in 4th and made it up to 2nd and held the position to the end. Had some great passing and even went 3 wide at one point. Won my mini swift race and had a great day racing.

Last night was full of little quirks... Racing started fine and we were in a good spot going into the second heat starting 2nd. On the first lap our side pod came flying off putting us in the back of the pack for the feature. Started the feature last and we had to battle back and make a pass to get up to 3rd but didn't have time to make it any further. We keep working to get up to the top. Until next time.
