Doing some experiments, claws from a black squirrel and tail from a pheasant.

1/24 with #6 mustad sickle hook. Super sharp hook. Should be deadly!

This color will flat out get em on alot of days!!!

Welcome to Stump Jumpers Jigs! I greatly enjoy feeling the thump on my jig when I'm fishing, and I only fish with my home tied jigs. I mainly fish for crappie in my home state of Louisiana; Lake Darbone, Bussy Brake, and Poverty Point. I've also had the opportunity to travel and fish some of the best lakes in the southeast, including Grenada Lake, Lake Guntersville, Lake Fork, Lake Sardis, and several more.
