Maddie was a young teen when she first came before the City Council to ask them to vote for the soccer park. She's back again, this time as a Missfit Soccer coach, to defend our park! Thanks to Maddie on so many levels: a moving speech, a youth mentor, a soccer coach giving back to her community!
City Council passed a motion to find a funding solution to replace the fields tonight!
A very exciting step towards getting the fields replaced and improving the park.

“Sports play a very important roll in the growth of our youth. It teaches them how to work as a team, winning and losing gracefully just to mention couple. I have a grandson who would probably not be where he is today (serving in the US Navy) if it were not for his high school football program and coaches. This park is used by many besides our youth and is in dire need of repair.”
