Redding Rodeo Team Roping Winners!
Coleman Proctor and Travis Graves captured the Team Roping title at the 2026 Redding Rodeo with a lightning-fast 9.7 seconds on two head, earning $3,465 each!
Team roping is the only true team event in rodeo, and it takes incredible timing and skill between two cowboys and their horses to make a winning run. The header ropes the steer’s horns and sets the turn, while the heeler charges in to rope both back feet — all in just seconds. 📸 Hailey Rae Photo

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
For 250 years, America has stood strong because of those willing to serve, protect, and give everything for this country. Their courage is the reason we get to gather with family, wave the flag, and celebrate traditions like rodeo.
At the Redding Rodeo, we’re especially thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and the heroes who made them possible. Today we remember, reflect, and ride with gratitude.
From all of us — thank you to our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. ❤️🤍💙

THANK YOU to our incredible fans, sponsors, contract personnel, volunteers, contestants, and rodeo families for making this year’s Redding Rodeo the most successful in our history! 🤠🔥
Selling out all THREE nights of rodeo performances proves one thing — the Redding Rodeo is here to stay. The support from our community and rodeo fans across the country continues to blow us away, and we could not do it without every single one of you.
This success also means the Redding Rodeo Association has officially set the bar higher than ever before. Now it’s time to continue improving and investing in our facilities so we can make the experience even better for generations to come.
Thank you for helping us continue the tradition of “Buckin’ by the River” and making memories that will last a lifetime.
We already can’t wait to see you all again May 12–15 for the 79th Annual Redding Rodeo!

What a performance by Stetson Wright at the legendary Redding Rodeo!
Wright proved once again why he’s one of the greatest cowboys to ever step into the arena, capturing the All-Around Championship in dominant fashion by winning BOTH Saddle Bronc Riding and Bull Riding. An absolutely incredible feat that showcases toughness, versatility, and championship grit.
To compete — and win — in two of rodeo’s toughest events at the same rodeo is something truly special. Fans at the Redding Rodeo witnessed greatness firsthand as Stetson put on a show worthy of the history and tradition of Buckin’ by the River.
From smooth bronc rides to fearless bull riding performances, this was one for the record books.

Tonight during the bull riding event at the Redding Rodeo, cowboy athlete Levi Gray was injured during his ride. He was immediately attended to by the Justin Sports Medicine Team and evaluated in their on-site medical trailer.
After treatment and evaluation, it was determined that Levi suffered a concussion from the incident. He is alert, walking around, and will continue to be monitored. Thankfully, he did not require transport to the hospital.
We appreciate the quick response from the Justin Sports Medicine Team and ask everyone to keep Levi in their thoughts as he recovers.
