Hello everyone, and Happy Sunday!

If you were at the track last Saturday night (May 30) you likely saw the B&G Motorsports #02 Camaro involved in a heavy crash.

First and most importantly, Eric is completely fine and walked away with no injuries.

While the wreck looked dramatic from the grandstands, it was caused by another driver (name intentionally omitted) hitting us in the left-rear quarter panel, which sent us spinning counterclockwise before they drove over the top of our car. We were simply caught up in an incident that wasn’t of our making.

When the dust settled, three cars were left wrecked across the backstretch.

Once we got our car back to the pits, we began assessing the damage. There’s quite a bit of cosmetic damage visible, and we’ll have a better understanding of the full extent today as we tear into it.

The frustrating part is that we had a very strong car — one truly capable of winning — but got collected in someone else’s overly aggressive move.

On a positive note, we now have two months to get everything repaired and sorted out. We’ll be back ready to go in September for Race #4 at Shasta Speedway.

Shasta Speedway - May 31, 2026
