🚨 FALCONS MAKE HISTORY

Central Valley rewrote the record book with a 70-point explosion against Oroville—the program’s highest-scoring performance since 2005!

Junior quarterback Ian Woolery rushed for three touchdowns and threw two more. Zack Foden added 121 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Falcons piled up 287 yards on the ground.

🦁 LIONS KEEP ROARING

Redding Christian dismantled Biggs 54-6, improving to 2-0 and extending its winning streak to 17 games. The Lions have outscored their first two opponents 102-6. MaxPreps

🐝 HORNETS STING AGAIN

Enterprise rolled past Fairfield 54-7 and improved to 2-0. The Hornets have scored 102 points while allowing only seven through two games. MaxPreps

🐺 WOLVES MOVE TO 2-0

Shasta handled Eureka 42-6 and remained unbeaten. The Wolves have opened the season with victories over Lassen and Eureka. MaxPreps

🦅 RED HAWKS TAKE FLIGHT

Simpson University collected its first win of the season with a commanding 56-14 road victory over Whittier College. Simpson Athletics

Central Valley High School football is off to a BIG start in Shasta Lake!

The Central Valley Falcons Varsity opened the 2026 season with a convincing 60–12 victory over Mt. Shasta on Friday, August 28, moving the Falcons to 1–0 on the season.

And Varsity wasn’t alone! 👏
