Kyle Lacanlale is putting in both.

Before your body can move efficiently, it has to be able to move at all. Thatโ€™s what a Player Card Assessment finds out.

Itโ€™s a full movement screen with a PM Performance Coach, built to find every mobility limitation standing between you and efficient movement: hip rotation, shoulder rotation, straight leg raise, ankle mobility, tested left to right and flagged as restricted or cleared. Then we check your breathing and intra-abdominal pressure, because how youโ€™re stacked and how you breathe under load is often the real limiter, not just how flexible you are.

Itโ€™s time to finally see the progress from the work youโ€™ve been putting in. Link in bio.

โ›ณ๏ธ BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION. UNLOCK YOUR SWING.

Golf is a skillโ€”but your ability to express that skill starts with how well your body can move.

Thatโ€™s the goal of our Golf Mobility Workshop Swing Central Golf Club

James Abellar, PT, DPT, OCS breaks down the purpose of the workshop. Weโ€™re not here to teach you how to swing a golf club. Weโ€™re here to help you build the movement foundation that gives your swing more potential.

Weโ€™ll focus on the key areas that contribute to an efficient golf swing:

๐Ÿ”น Hip mobility โ€” create the ability to load, rotate, and transfer force
๐Ÿ”น Spinal rotation โ€” improve your ability to rotate through the backswing and follow-through
๐Ÿ”น Shoulder mobility โ€” create the movement needed to control the club throughout the swing
๐Ÿ”น Basic movement patterns โ€” improve how your body moves as a system, not just individual joints

Think of it like building a house:

Your mobility is the foundation.
Your swing mechanics are the structure.
Your golf skill is what you build on top.

If your foundation is limited, there may be less potential to develop the swing you're capable of.

This workshop is designed for golfers who:

โ›ณ๏ธ Feel restricted during their swing
โ›ณ๏ธ Struggle with hip, shoulder, or spinal mobility
โ›ณ๏ธ Experience aches or pain while or after golfing
โ›ณ๏ธ Want to move better and potentially mitigate pain
โ›ณ๏ธ Want to build a better physical foundation for their game

You don't need to swing harder. You may need to move better first.

Come build the foundation your golf game can grow from.

๐Ÿ“ฉ If youโ€™re a golfer looking for more mobility, better movement, or help mitigating pain on the course, reach out to learn about our next workshop.

Progressive Motion Golf Mobility Workshop โ›ณ๏ธ

Shout out to Swing Central Golf Club for hosting us in their space!

simple swing test โ†’ treat โ†’ retest approach to see how improving mobility could influence the golf swing.

We focused on improving hip and spinal mobility, then immediately retested the swing.

The goal wasn't to โ€œfixโ€ someone's golf swing with a few mobility drills.

It was to create more available range of motion so the golfer has more options to move through the swing.

Think of it this way:

Mobility can open the door.
Skill determines what you do once you're through it.

Improving your hip and spinal ROM won't automatically make you a better golfer. But if limited mobility is preventing you from getting into the positions your swing requires, addressing it can give you more room to move, rotate, load, and produce force.

That's where movement assessment + golf skill can work together.

If you're serious about leveling up your game, don't just ask:

"How can I improve my swing?"

Also ask:

"Does my body have the mobility to perform the swing I'm trying to create?"

Longevity work doesnโ€™t stop at the workout. Physical therapy is always FSA/HSA eligible, and performance recovery tied to a medical need counts too.

Last month, we opened up a handful of complimentary Body IQ sessions to test one idea: most people donโ€™t need more flexibility, they need the right part to move.

Our community showed up, tried it, and told us what worked. This month, Body IQ becomes an official class.

Spots are limited. Reserve yours now at the link in bio.

Body IQ is a small group training class from Progressive Motion, built on the same framework our coaches use one-on-one.
Led by Joey Salgado and Josh Moreali, each session opens with a quick self check to pinpoint why your body moves the way it does, whether thatโ€™s a stiff joint, an uneven side, or a pattern youโ€™ve been compensating around for years.
From there, you learn to set your body up correctly so the right muscles do the work, instead of guessing at cues like โ€œengage your core.โ€

JLin NextGen Camp gave us a window into where each athlete actually stood during the 1:1 assessments, and the Body IQ Group Movement Training is where that observation continued evolving.

All ten athletes shared one floor, and the same patterns we introduced individually played out live under the pressure of a group.

This is the part of the work that matters most and gets seen least: the mobility and positioning that has to exist before a body is ever asked to move fast or move hard.

The emphasis stayed exactly where it needed to be. Not on load, but on proficiency; learning the correct position before adding any intensity to it. We started with decel and reactive work while the nervous system was still sharp, then moved into strength work built to lock the pattern in.

This is what raising Body IQ actually looks like. Reps now, so that when the game speeds up, the body already knows what to do.

Getting to be part of again meant teaming up alongside a lot of genuinely talented people who poured everything into this weekend.
โ€จAn ops team keeping ten things running at once without missing a beat.โ€จA skills team training on the court alongside the athletes all weekend.โ€จMedia and Content teams chasing every angle and soundbite (and occasionally each other for the best shot).โ€จAnd our PM team, bringing the same standard we bring every day.

We had a blast being in the room with you all.
