The Reese Color Bombs 10U wrapped up their summer tournament season this weekend at the Standish Lady Crushers Summer Slugfest! 💣🥎

The girls kicked off bracket play on Sunday with an exciting 14-10 victory over the Crushers 10U-Moore team. They battled hard in their second game but came up short against the Crushers 10U-Migut team, falling 9-1.

While this officially marks the end of our summer tournament season, we couldn't be more proud of how much these girls have grown and improved throughout the year. Their hard work, determination, and teamwork have been incredible to watch!

One thing is for sure—we're not sure who's having more fun, the girls or the parents! This team has become more than just a softball team; it's a great group of families making memories together both on and off the field.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and supporters for an amazing summer season. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this group.

Reese Color Bombs 11U Travel competed this weekend at the Lady Explorers Tressa Augustine Memorial Summer Smasher, putting together an impressive tournament run and advancing all the way to the semifinals!

On Saturday in pool play, Reese Color Bombs opened the tournament with a 5-3 victory over Firecrackers Richardson 11U. Great pitching and timely hitting helped lead the way in the win.

Game two Reese Color Bombs faced the 11U Jets. A tough first inning proved too much to overcome as they fell 15-3.

The team bounced back in game three of pool play with an 8-4 win over ICE Fastpitch 11U. Once again, outstanding pitching, clutch hitting, and aggressive baserunning were the keys to victory.

The strong pool play performance earned Reese Color Bombs the No. 5 seed heading into bracket play on Sunday. Despite a slow start at the plate and trailing by as many as four runs, the team showed tremendous resilience, rallying to defeat B45 11U-Steadmon 7-4 to advance to the semifinals.

In the semifinals, another difficult first inning ultimately ended the tournament run against the Lady Explorers.

We couldn't be prouder of this team, the coaches, and the parents for an outstanding weekend. The girls battled, supported one another, and never gave up.

Next up: NSA States in Grand Blanc! Let's keep it rolling! 🥎❤️🖤

Good luck to our 9u team traveling to USA to play in a 4 team round robin on Sunday and our 11u team traveling to Midland to play in the Lady Explorers Tressa Augustine Memorial Summer Smasher on Saturday and Sunday🥎❤️🥎.

The 11u Color Bombs secured a thrilling victory, winning 12-11 in a nail-biting 7-inning game. Chaos left the bases loaded, and the Color Bombs delivered some incredible hits to clinch the win 🥎🏅🥎

Day 2 of the Renegades Spring Fling brought some tough competition for our Reese Color Bombs 10U, with losses to the Muskegon Sabercats and Port Huron Titans.

Even with the challenges, the girls played hard all weekend and showed great effort on the field! 💪🥎

Off the field, we had an AMAZING potluck—those walking tacos were a huge hit (thanks, parents! 🌮🙌). And we also learned we might need a little extra practice in our Rock, Paper, Scissors skills 😂

We’ll take a couple weeks off to reset and come back stronger, then head to Standish to wrap up our Color Bombs summer season!
