When people think about delegating, it can feel risky. Someone else might do it slower or differently, so you keep doing what feels safe and handle it yourself.
But the real risk isn't in handing off a task and having it go sideways once, or not come out perfect right up front. The real risk is continuing to be the only person who can do it.
So being a little uncomfortable now, and letting someone struggle through it while the stakes are still low enough to recover, is what builds a person who can handle it well when the stakes are higher.
Delegating isn't the risk, being the only one who can do it is.
