Discipline = Freedom

Freedom from insecurities, anxieties, self doubt, sooo many other issues.

One of the many reasons I love this bodybuilding life is that it requires and inspires resilience, tenacity, perseverance, and discipline.

I’m beyond happy with the improvements We made.

Being able to compete in this sport is a blessing.

Getting better and better every time is icing on the cake 🎂

I’ve got access to one of the best gyms in the world surrounded by high level athletes and the most supportive squad in the world motivated to live up to the name that was given to me. If they don’t know it yet they will soon. I want this more than anything. 😤

•A more accurate caption would be the face I make after I crush some weight just after anyone says my form is s**t and I don’t know what I’m doing.. ok bro ok 🙄 everyone’s a critic.
•I understand that I could use some technique adjustments and my people and I are working on that. However there’s so much BS petty jealousy and hate in the fitness industry specifically the powerlifting community it’s really strange and kinda a bummer to me. We should support one another and genuinely try to help and encourage our fellow gym folk or for that matter anyone in the aspirations they would pursue not snap at them or tell them they aren’t ready.
•”People can’t do something themselves they want to tell you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it.”
• It would seem to me the ones giving the most unsolicited advice and negativity are also the ones who have the most issues and insecurity within themselves.

SQUATS 500 for 6 on the 7th set feelin strong for this late night/ early morning workout.
•Thanks to my coach who is to remain nameless as he or she is in the witness protection program but just know I appreciate ya 😂💪🏾 we got a lot of people to prove wrong and show them that we’re not forces to be taken lightly or underestimated in this sport or industry.
•Someone tells me I can’t do something I’ll become bound and determined to show them they’re wrong that’s why I grind like I do.

Awesome gym with an incredible atmosphere highest quality equipment and amazing staff. ‘‘Twas a good day. (Had more in the tank but I was bouncing the reps too much and I realized that. Proves to me my max is def higher than my previous 700 however.

Goal for 2018 is to increase my level of strength and aesthetics per usual but only after I increase the progress and effort I put into everything else. In my progress and effort in school, work and my relationships with the people I care about I have so much room to grow. Side note: it’s not that you should wait for a new year to start to go after your goals but the end of the year is a good progress marker to check in and see how far you have come. I always want to get better, challenge myself, improve and make my loved ones proud.

Sidenote// PSA: don’t brag about how much you leg press or how much you smith machine squat. It’s not impressive. No one cares.
