For the last few months I've been fine tuning the ezgo design and have produced many prototypes to really live and define the ideal wallet. The last few weeks I've spent making minor changes, some at 0.25 mm accuracy, so that every aspect of the design makes sense and fits comfortably to make a great user experience. I've met with dozens of manufacturers in local Washington factory shops (near the emerald city Seattle) as well as Oregon and I have a solid plan to produce thousands of quality ezgo wallets in strong, flexible and polished polyamid in many colors with a plan to eventually have options for a variety of other materials and finishes such as aluminum, and titanium. In order to produce quality ezgo wallets in large quantities, I will need to make a considerable financial commitment to producing a complex and intricate "tool" or a mold to be able to cast large quantities of the ezgo made locally in Washington State and be able to sell them at an affordable price. My goal is to raise at least the minimum $20,000 (taking into consideration 10% in Kickstarter/Amazon fees) so that I can sustain this project and make the ezgo available to you awesome backers and for future productions. If I exceed my goal and reach $70,000 or more, I will also manufacture the ezgo wallet in aircraft grade brushed aluminum with four finish options of Silver, Titanium, Carbon and Bronze and give backers the option to switch their reward from polyamide to aluminum for no additional charge. I do plan on eventually producing ezgo wallets made with other metal material such as real titanium, stainless steel, brass and even rare metals such as silver and gold. For this project I will be providing reward options for brass and silver only as it is currently available to produce in limited quantities. I value every dollar and contribution made to this project and am completely devoted to making this a success and a seed to many more cool and useful products. I am passionate about this project and as a consequence will work hard, and devote my time to completing all orders on time while maintaining high quality standards. The actual cost of manufacturing this wallet in large quantities will cost about $35,000, and I have already have made a considerable investment so I am very committed to this project. I can't get this done without your help and I'm really hoping you will share the same excitement I felt when I had my first ezgo in hand. Getting a brand new product out on the market is always a challenge, but I have a solid multi-channel marketing plan, and from the reaction I've been receiving on my final prototypes, "word of mouth" will without a doubt work in our favor! I am a true believer in the ezgo wallet design and functionality. I sincerely believe every new owner of the ezgo wallet will really love it for it's simplicity, comfort and usability. I have been in contact with several local small business manufacturers in both Washington and Oregon state on a weekly basis that have had decades of excellence in production and achieving stringent very high quality standards. As the fabricator of many large scale products such as commercial airplanes, both states have plenty of injection molding, die casting, and CNC milling manufacturers with years of experience. I have come to trust two of the manufacturing facilities, each capable of producing different materials. I know I may run into obstacles and potential delays, and you have my word I will do everything in my power to keep on schedule and deliver what was promised.
