There's nothing quite like the feeling of knocking another species off the list! with an absolute stunner grayling!

Me and joined the Cedar River clean up yesterday. Just doing our part representing & helping keep our local urban fishery cleaned up! It was a great turn out and wow the amount of trash my group of 6 gathered in 2hrs was insane! The pile was twice this size by the end. Even talked a goup of "urban campers" into bringing all of their trash out. The feeling you get from volunteering is almost as good as catching a hog! But seriously get involved in your local community. Every little bit adds to a greater impact. We all have to do our part!

I love supporting companies that are not only innovative but also stand behind their products. I stumbled upon when they first came out about 4 years ago. I immediately switched over to their indicators. Because they were the best! It solved all of the problems I had using other indicators. Since then I've had the opportunity to develope a great relationship with them. Even taking a trip out to fish with Patrick in Montana!
I really just want to give a huge shout out to Patrick and Terri the owners. They are some of the nicest most realistic business owners I have ever met! Absolutely great people! The hard work and dedication they put into their family business is just unreal.

You steelhead, salmon, and trout anglers definitely are going to be mind blown!

It's nice to set a pb and be able to track the size, location, species, and so much more. I've been with since we were just beta testing to train the ai. I can honestly say I didn't use it a lot in the beginning. I just wasn't use to using something to measure my fish. As I had given up trying to tape out a fish long ago. So I'd often find myself releasing a fish then being like man I should have used the proof ball. I did manage to use it on some more memorable fish though! Fast forward to current day and I can say I definitely don't measure every fish or even a fish on every outing. The has definitely earned is place in my arsenal of tools. When I'm bragging to friends I'm always going them the pic with the proofball and measurements. Just happen to scroll past this one in my photo gallery and figured it was worth a share!

When the pre-hike hike leg stretch lake produces better than the lake you almost died hiking to....this honestly is one of the healthiest rainbows I've encountered in a lake not even listed by the state as having fish.
