Anticipated heavy rainfall and severe weather across central Missouri have forced PIMP - Pittsburg International Motorsports Park and Icon Graphics and Apparel 417 OKA Series officials to postpone this weekend’s Missouri Metal Buildings Dirt Kart Nightmare Saturday, June 13.

With rain impacting the area throughout the week, followed by additional storms expected tonight and continuing through the day on Saturday, track owner Evan Hubert and series director Casey Mooneyham made the decision early to avoid unnecessary travel, expense, and logistics for teams and fans while ensuring the ability to deliver a premier show when conditions allow.

Both track and series officials are working on a rescheduled date. More information to be out soon. Stay tuned to our page for more updates.

🔈🔉🔊. The stars of the Icon Graphics and Apparel 417 Outlaw Karting Association will converge in Pittsburg, Missouri, for one of dirt racing’s most prestigious crown jewel events when the 2nd Annual Dirt Kart Nightmare Presented by Missouri Metal Buildings takes place at PIMP - Pittsburg International Motorsports Park on Saturday June13th .

Burl Woods of Republic, Mo is the Inaugural and defending Nightmare winner. Woods became the first winner in 417 OKA history when he parked his #26 Woods Excavating & Contracting LLC , Team Zero kart in Beauty + Wellness Co Victory Lane last June. Woods topped the 19 kart field. RJL Race Looney, comes into the weekend hot off his win back in May during the Sho Me Dents Show-Me 50. Both Looney’s series wins have came at P.I.M.P. So it’s safe to say the Republic, Mo driver is excited to get to the Pittsburg High Banks. James Smith III is the only other driver to have a win at the P.I.M.P as he was victorious for the DTKC.

The 417 OKA championship battle enters the Dirt Kart Nightmare weekend with Race Looney leading the Championship Standings . RJL carries a 4- point advantage over Aaron Mooneyham, while Casey Mooneyham sits third in the standings entering one of the season’s premier crown jewel events. Donnie Fellers. and Lake Mooneyham round out the top 5.

This weekend will also kick off our Alan Ferguson Land & Cattle Crown Jewel Cup. It will be the first of 8 races! As we look to see another big and stout kart field come Saturday June 13th.

Evan & Audrey Hubert at P.I.M.P have been hard at work getting the facility in tip-top condition. As they are adding lights and making some adjustments to the track and seating area’s.

Come be apart of the biggest race of the season.
