Greetings wrestling fans,

We’re seeking your help to get Wrestler Unstoppable back online.

Twelve years ago, to keep Wrestler Unstoppable open, Sports Unstoppable was founded and purchased the game from its previous owners. Since then, we have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into the game to keep it running and improving, and covering losses. We did this as a labor of love, and want to be able to continue keeping the game up and running. However, due to continuing losses, we are unable to do so. For the last 2 years, we have been working to reduce the financial burden of maintaining the game and generate more revenue, with more offers for you. This has been mostly successful but has not yet created profits.

The relationship between Wrestler Unstoppable and Facebook has been a problem for some time. The use of artificial intelligence by Facebook to manage “service” issues has caused outages and glitches for us consistently for several years. Currently the game is down because once again the Facebook AI has turned off the log in server until we provide them with a log in video, that we can't make because we can't log in, obviously.

To fix this and eliminate the issue moving forward—as well as other issues that have been caused by Facebook--we are starting a project to get the game off of Facebook. All told this project is estimated to cost roughly $25,000. This is less than original estimates due to a variety of factors including cost savings negotiations.

To help partially cover the costs of this project, we are seeking your help through GoFundMe in partially covering the financial costs of getting Wrestler Unstoppable off of Facebook, and bringing the game back online as soon as possible. The funds raised will be used to cover the external costs of programmers and developers to get the game back online and off of Facebook. None of the funds raised through this appeal will be used to cover anything other than the costs directly related to the objective of this project. If for some reason we raise more money than the project requires, all additional funds will go towards other improvements and fixes as needed.

We all have our own reasons for originally joining WU and continuing to play the game over the years. The game-play and the friendships forged in WU are part of the reasons we’re working to get it back online. This is your opportunity to help with that goal. We are moving forward with the project regardless of how our GoFundMe appeal turns out. But, every bit our players donate makes the cost more manageable and more importantly frees up funds for unexpected expenses related to the project, and possibly making other fixes.

We want to be transparent that it is completely possible, although highly unlikely, that this project could blow up the database, so we can't make a guarantee that this project will be successful. But, the developers are very optimistic that it should go smoothly.

Once complete, this project would take away Facebook's ability to lock everyone out of game, and it would provide an easier and faster way for you to buy items and Wrestler Bucks in game without having to message us on FB messenger to get an invoice. For basic items, subscriptions, and art, purchases would still be manual as they are now. It will allow us to put up micro transactions for specific items if we find that to be something you would like. It will also open the door for us to start work on fixing the new player experience and help us start to grow the game again by bringing in new players in a smoother and seamless process.

We have always been, and remain, committed to keeping this game alive for the tremendous community, memories, friendships, and more that Wrestler Unstoppable has created for you and others for so many years.

Wrestler Bucks sales will resume the week of August 15, 2022.

There is a scheduled outage overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. Wrestler Unstoppable will not be accessible.

The sale of Wrestler Bucks is now suspended indefinitely. Current orders will be processed and delivered, but no other orders will be processed.

User Support is closed for the weekend. TOS and CoC violations will continue to be addressed.

July 18, 2022: We are aware of an outage and are currently working on determining the cause and a solution. Apologies for the inconvenience.

June 2022--Sports Unstoppable, LLC entered into a development, support and service agreement this month with a well-known, international third party vendor to maintain its popular "Wrestler Unstoppable" free-to-play game currently presented on Facebook.

The services included will provide on-demand support and fixes as needed, as well as provide on-going development to the game in order to add both stability and greater independence for the game from social media networks.

The agreement is estimated to be valued at least up to $150,000 annually, all-in. Specific and complete terms of the agreement were not provided by company.

"Entering into this agreement provides the game, its players, and Sports Unstoppable, LLC with greater stability both in terms of game-play as well as ongoing development efforts," said Kevin Lucido, CEO and Founder of Sports Unstoppable. "It's also part of our continuing significant investments in the game to maintain operations," he added.

Privately-held and -funded Sports Unstoppable, LLC is based in Reston, Virginia, and was founded in 2014. Currently, the company's leading product is the "Wrestler Unstoppable" free-to-play game. Other games are under development. The company is majority-owned by Aurora Media, Inc., also a Reston, Virginia-based company.

Hello Wrestler Unstoppable players! The current outage of the game will continue through *at least* mid-day USA Eastern time on Thursday June 30. We apologize for the situation. Once again, Facebook turned off access to the game with no notice to us. We believe we have figured out what the issue may be, but Facebook so far has refused to provide that information. We'll keep you updated as soon as there are further developments.

Sports Unstoppable is aware that the Wrestler Unstoppable game cannot be accessed by players who were not already logged in this morning, USA eastern time. It appears to be an issue with Facebook and we will work to get it resolved, once they tell us what it is. Thank you for your patience and for playing Wrestler Unstoppable.

Hello Wrestler Unstoppable players--As you may know, Wrestler Unstoppable is back up and running. You should be able to get to the game by your usual method, but the difference is now there will be a web page that appears before you get to the game.

On that page will be the Wrestler Unstoppable image, below which is a rectangle, showing "Play Wrestler Unstoppable". It may not look like a normal link because your cursor may not alternate to indicate a link. Click on the rectangle and it will take you to your regular Wrestler Unstoppable page.

Alternatively, the Wrestler Unstoppable image above the "Play Wrestler Unstoppable" rectangle is also a link. Click on it and it will take you to the regular Wrestler Unstoppable page.

Note: The new page with the links to go to the game is likely to be redesigned soon, and so it may look different than what you're used to seeing. There will always be links to the game from that page.
