Canyon Creek Neighbors — We have a T-Shirt Design Winner!
We are thrilled to announce the winner of our 2026 Canyon Creek 4th of July T-Shirt Design Contest, 8-year old Jack Bogle!
Jack will be starting third grade this fall. He loves learning, especially history and geography.
When he learned that this year’s parade would coincide with America’s 250th birthday, Jack immediately thought about creating something that celebrated both our country and our neighborhood traditions. He wanted the design to feel patriotic and festive while also reflecting the nostalgic, small-town spirit of the annual 4th of July parade, one of his family’s favorite parts of summer.
Seeing everyone gather along Lookout to watch the decorated cars roll by, wave flags, and toss candy to all the kids, and afterwards, continuing the celebration with the community party on the lawn of the country club with the bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals, is such a special tradition and one of the things that makes Canyon Creek feel like home.
Jack's incredible design will be featured on this year's parade t-shirt, which will be provided for FREE to all Canyon Creek homeowners. A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a design - your creativity made this a very tough decision!
Runners-up:
- 2nd place: Vivienne Segal (250 Golf Cart Design)
- 3rd place: Gemma Saadeh (250 Birthday Cake Design)

CUSTER PARKWAY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Due to a conflict with a shallow gas main found during construction, Atmos needs to relocate its gas main across Custer Parkway on the south side of the Canyon Creek Drive intersection. Therefore, the removed pavement at this intersection will remain unfinished until Atmos completes its relocation work. Paving work will resume once the relocation of the gas main is complete in roughly two to three weeks, weather permitting.
