A huge thank-you to everyone who made this past weekend’s Nutcracker such a memorable and moving experience.

Few people truly understand how many elements must come together—not just to function, but to unite—in order to present a masterpiece to full audiences. There are far too many to thank by name, but you know who you are.

Thank you as well to the Dallas audiences, whose appreciation and standing ovations meant so much to our Tuzer dancers. And heartfelt thanks to Christine and Brooklyn, who were not only incredible onstage but also genuinely kind and encouraging to our dancers.
It was a wonderful run. Onward to 2026.

~ OPENING DAY ~
Today marks the beginning of Tuzer Ballet’s 40th Anniversary, a milestone filled with gratitude, remembrance, and pride. As we take the stage, we do so with the deep awareness that Mr. Tuzer is with us in spirit—watching from the wings on stage left, as he so often did. His presence is felt in every movement, every rehearsal, and every dancer who carries forward his legacy.
Tuzer Ballet would not exist without his unwavering vision, leadership, and devotion to the art of ballet. We miss him dearly and hold his teachings close as we honor the foundation he built.
As Mr. Tuzer often reminded us, “Tomorrow has to be different.”
With those words guiding us, we dedicate today’s performance to our mentor, striving to make it as meaningful and memorable as possible. We hope, above all, to make him proud.
