Last show of the tour is tonight in Baltimore, the city where my birth occurred. Been a blast running around with William Elliott Whitmore and hearing him every night. Haven’t seen a solo performer rock a room this hard in a long time. Epic cat and his fans are the coolest. Metro Baltimore at 8pm.

4 different fermented hot sauces today. Each one a different fruit and pepper combination. 2 weeks and we will see how they are.

Solo charcuterie board tonight for me. We have Camembert with pickled blueberries, a lemon and honey infused cheddar, duck liver pate drizzled with curry infused oil, homemade dill pickle spears and some bread/butter pickles I put sweet smoked paprika and lemon zest in. Little sourdough toast brushed with olive oil and Zatar. Delicious.

Penne ala vodka with lump crab. Topped with chives and egg yolk bottarga. On my amazing new cutting board.

Pickles experiments yesterday,
Pickled Jalapeños and Pineapple in a Bread/Butter brine(perfect with al pastor pork), Pineapple with Pink Peppercorns, and Bread/Butter Zucchini.

Father’s Day breakfast cooked by my boys. Buttermilk cheddar biscuits. Sausage, bacon and mushroom gravy with fresh herbs and topped scallions and hot sauce. So good.

The shrimp pasta trains keeps a rolling. Shrimp fra diavolo. Butter, olive oil, garlic, anchovy, red pepper, capers, homemade pickles cherry tomatoes, white wine, Aleppo pepper , shrimp and lots of parsley. It was amazing.
