RVA Climbs

Thanks to and for joining us for a beautiful Friday afternoon of sends and smiles! It was all fun and games...until...well even after they found the snake in the wall. These folks were fearless!

Today was INCREDIBLE! We’ve had the pleasure of rock climbing and whitewater rafting with Boys to Men before but this was our first ever recreational tree climbing event!
Watching these young men step out of their comfort zones and into the canopies was a truly inspiring thing to see. We really can’t thank all the folks that helped out enough. Please check out and the good work they do to support our local youth.
And thanks to our friends at Aborscapes for lending us some of their excellent staff to make this happen!

We are gearing up for the climbing season with new friends in tow! Beyond Boundaries is a local non-profit specializing in helping ALL people learn to SEND IT, regardless of physical, mental, or financial ability. We will absolutely be holding more volunteer belay clinics soon if you’re interested in getting involved. Whether you already have climbing experience or you’d like to volunteer in other ways, send us an email to receive updates on these events and we’ll keep ya in the loop! @ James River Park System

For anyone that isn’t familiar, Beyond Boundaries is an amazing non-profit supporting outdoor experiences for everyone regardless of their background or physical disabilities. RVA Climbs has the pleasure of facilitating a belay class on Monday September 24th to kick off the climbing season. If you’re interested in getting involved, here’s your chance!
