Another beautiful evening at HGC!!!! Even the ladies love Unclubbed Golf!!! I'm sure there were a lot of pars and birdies in this group!

Opening Day at The Hollows never disappoints.

Unclubbed kicked off the season today, and once again, Andrew Bemis and his incredible staff set the tone for what makes this place special.

They don’t just host us—they truly take care of us. From the course to the hospitality, they spoil our group every time we show up, and we’re grateful for everything they do to make our Tuesdays feel special.

Huge thank you to Andy and the entire Hollows team for starting our season off right.

Unclubbed hosted a private event at Next Round in Richmond, and it turned into an outstanding night of insight, connection, and momentum for the year ahead.

A big thank‑you to Jeff Fitch of the PGA TOUR, who shared an exciting update on the Korn Ferry Tour event coming to The Federal Club this fall. Hearing directly from Jeff about what’s ahead for the region was a highlight of the evening.

We also appreciated Matt Smiley, Executive Director of the VSGA, confirming that there are no major rules changes this year.

He’ll be joining Unclubbed at an upcoming event to give a deeper update, which we’re all looking forward to.

And a special thanks to Steve Stoloff, Founder & CEO of Next Round, for hosting the event and giving us a fantastic overview of the company’s history and where they’re headed. Next Round continues to lead the industry as the premier trade‑in platform trusted by club fitters and pro shops nationwide — and having their headquarters right here in Richmond is a huge asset to our golf community.

We’ve missed all of you. With temps hitting the 70s this week, we hope you’re getting back out on the course.

We’re hard at work finalizing the 2026 calendar and will have that out soon. In the meantime, we’ve scheduled a Happy Hour at Next Round here in Richmond. https://nextroundgolf.com/

They also manage all trade-in clubs for Club Champion nationwide. It’s pretty wild that they’re right here in our backyard. This is a private event for us; their facilities are not open to the public, so we hope you can attend.

Were back from the PGA Show and a little golf in the Florida sunshine… and reality hit fast. Last week we were playing in the 80s. Today in Virginia, it’s 12 degrees with three inches of snow on the ground.

Huge swing in temperature, zero swing in enthusiasm — can’t wait to bring some of that PGA Show energy into the season. Stay warm, folks… golf season will be here before we know it.

Took a field trip to SCC. Perfection!!!

I had the honor of caddying for my good friend Andy Bemis, owner of The Hollows Golf Club, at the Tom Farrell Memorial Pro-Am presented by Markel — an unforgettable experience.

Walking the course with him during such a legacy-rich event was a reminder of how golf connects us — through tradition, camaraderie, and shared respect for the game.

Grateful to the PGA team and Markel for hosting such a unique and heartfelt event.

Scott Hend, our golf pro for the round, couldn’t have been more down-to-earth or more fun to play with. He brought a relaxed energy and genuine enthusiasm that made the pro-am unforgettable.
