Boys got in and put in some great work. It was a good first session for learning and gaining experience and getter better. ⚒️⚒️
I use circuit style training to increase my work capacity (endurance) and heart health. It’s also a great modality if your pressed for time.
I like to add these in as a second workout of the day when I have the time. This circuit was ran an hour before I trained Dynamic lower body effort.
Circuits could be kettlebell’s, sprints, jumps, DB work, sleds, medicine ball throws, rower. The options are endless.
3-5 exercises / 3-5 rounds
1 exercise straight into the next and rest between rounds as needed. Maybe a sup if water and collect yourself mentally for the next round.

Great reactive drill w my middle school group yesterday. Competitive. Fun. Improving reaction time and quickness mentally and physically.

Never really worked on these much but am going to start pushing Nordic curl eccentrics to potentially enhance speed and jumping abilities.
I always put myself through the ringer and test before application w clients and athletes.
If it builds a 40 yr old me it will improve my youth and other populations I work with.
This would be an off day for most. My off days are sometimes agility, jumps, mobility, prehab or I just fill in the gaps. I’ve built up my work capacity that I need these to maintain my GPP (level of fitness) where some might need more rest.

⚡️Hammer curls 12-15 reps
⚡️DB side lateral raises 15-20
⚡️KB core movement 8e (idk the name 🙃)
