General information
We are here to introduce and help the individual student-athlete enjoy the healthy sport of running and encourage having a fun and enjoyable experience, no matter what level they achieve.
We encourage young people to set goals for themselves so they can experience success when they achieve those goals and we challenge them to be physically healthy, ambitious, and to be their best.
We strive to focus on the importance of participation, mastery of skills, belonging, and having fun with other youth and adults. Although winning is important to every coach, it is not in the winning or losing that dominates the way the coaching staff looks at competitive sports; it is the ability and the intentions of empower youth athletes to give their best not only on the track but also in the classroom and in the community, learn from their mistakes, get better as they grow, and do not take it personally.
