Final game day in the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴🥎
What an incredible experience representing the United States as a softball ambassador. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the game I love while building friendships, serving local communities, and experiencing the amazing culture of the Dominican Republic.

Day 4 in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 was a break from softball and mostly a travel day, but it was still packed with unforgettable moments. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful oceanfront restaurant with incredible views before heading to a local school, where we spent the afternoon connecting with the kids. Their smiles and energy made the visit truly special.
After checking into our new hotel, we headed straight to the beach to relax and take it all in. The day ended with one of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. Another amazing day filled with new experiences, meaningful connections, and memories we’ll never forget.
Day four, off day from softball. Traveled a bit and ate lunch Oceanside. Visited a youth school.

What an incredible week!
Today, I graduated from the Georgia Chapter FBINAA Youth Leadership Academy!
As a catcher, we often told to be leaders on the softball field, but we never receive formal training in leadership. Some catchers are lucky to find a mentor and some develop styles that work for them.
This week, I learned so much about communication, accountability, teamwork, decision-making, integrity, problem-solving, and what it truly means to be a leader.
I am also incredibly honored to be the first person from Kentucky to represent our state at this academy!
A huge thank you to the Kentucky FBINAA Chapter for sponsoring me and giving me this amazing opportunity. I am truly grateful for everything I learned, the people I met, and the memories I made this week.
I’m excited to take these lessons with me both on and off the field! 🥎💙

I’m having an amazing time this week at the Georgia Military College for the Georgia Chapter FBINAA Youth Leadership Academy! We’ve already had some great discussions about leadership, teamwork, and pushing ourselves to grow, and it’s only the beginning.
One thing I’m already learning is that leadership isn’t just something you show on the softball field. It’s how you treat people, how you handle challenges, and how you step up for others every day. Those lessons matter just as much in life as they do in sports.
It’s also been a fun experience getting a taste of college life, from staying in the dorms to meeting new people from different backgrounds. I’m grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to take what I learn this week back with me, both on and off the field.
