The next segment included our PUSH Tribe Breakout sessions. Each PUSH Tribe Mom moderated a group, shared more insight, answered questions, and encouraged attendees😍 It was some very heartfelt moments that happened during this time. The breakout sessions were so good it took a few attempts to bring it to a close 🤣🤣🤣 We really could’ve been there all day!

The room was a whole vibe! It was so many connections being made! Attendees had the opportunity to place their business cards on the resource table and at the end of the event they also got to take a book home for free. One other big surprise was FREE headshots! Yea, we weren’t playing no games! 💃🏽😊

Shaquita Coleman, affectionately known as "Quita" is the wife of Devin Coleman and mother of two girls ages 6 and 3, Tionna and Taylor. Shaquita is a 2015 graduate from Old Dominion University and holds two bachelor degrees; one in Criminal Justice and the other in Sociology.
She is currently a Creative Director at a multi-million dollar fashion brand where she oversees marketing and creative campaigns. This is in close relationship with her own digital marketing company Signed Creative, which is a testament of God’s faithfulness to the desires that were placed in her heart long ago.
She recalls bringing home her little baby to her college apartment with the indulging fear that all of her dreams weren’t going to happen. For a little while, things were on hold, but Quita acknowledges that season had to happen for her to appreciate and be humble in every season to come.
One day, she decided to seek out the things that brought her joy and revealed more about her identity. After trying a bunch of things, Quita began renting a camera from her campus’ library once a month. She took pictures of her friends and family hoping to one day get someone to book her as a photographer. This eventually happened and became a great money stream for her. She also started making YouTube videos with her phone, sharing her personal stories about being a mom, her relationship with God, and any other topics that were near and dear to her heart. Taking this step opened her up to many other opportunities. She created a blog, made T-shirts, designed flyers, made “commercials”, and just created. For the first couple years, she made very little money but she did what she loved. She refused to look at what the current situation looked like, and instead focused on the dream that God has placed in her heart.
6 years later, Signed Creative has increased in revenue, profits, clients and more than what she could’ve ever thought from the first time she checked out that camera from the library. Start where you are..a seed can only begin in dirt🌱 @ Club CEO

In May of 2004, April attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College as a full-time student working towards an Associate in Science in Business Administration degree. At that time, she was a single mom trying to move forward in education and make a life for herself and her son. One day, she was asked by a fellow classmate if she sold natural products like body oils or incense. April didn’t sell any natural products, but a seed was planted from that conversation and she began researching natural products and how to sell them. From there, A.P. Real Oils and More was created.
In the midst of her research and networking, April found a wholesaler who believed in her and her passion for a business. The wholesaler helped her obtain wholesale prices for quality scented body oils. She started to sell body oils to her family, friends, and classmates. April decided to expand her business and began selling shea butter blends and natural soaps. She recalls having eczema as a child and seeing the benefits of using shea butter.
In May 2010, April received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University, got married, purchased her first home, and continued to build her business.
In 2013, A.P. Real Oils and More extended its reach and began selling products on Etsy. April continues to see constant growth in her business. Her husband is a huge supporter of her business and understands her love for what she does. It has been income for their family and her desire is to someday pass it down to her boys as a future business. Lee Salter is the CEO/Founder and Creative Director of the Lee Salter Creative Firm. She is a New Jersey native where she graduated from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Since then she has maintained a career over the past 5 years as a Scientist for the State of Virginia’s Newborn Screening Laboratory.
In 2013, she started a career as a Wardrobe Stylist, having the opportunity to work with celebrity wardrobe stylist Shun Melson and style celebrities, but Lee had so much more to offer. When styling a client she found herself not just dressing them for an event or photoshoot, but sharing her creative ideas and seeing beyond what they were preparing for!
The Lee Salter Creative Firm originated as an idea to create a “one stop shop”and full service for branding. Lee also offers Creative Consulting, to help those who need to strategize their ideas. This will consist of branding services with wardrobe styling, photography and makeup, content development and offering creative insight in areas needed.
Lee currently serves as the Creative Director for Liberation Church and CEO Magazine in Richmond, VA
