I am so impressed with ALL of the young ladies and gentlemen who performed at the USA Ballroom Dance last night. Not only did they demonstrate their Merengue, Foxtrot, Swing and Tango routines with elegance and grace, they bravely participated in a Foxtrot/Waltz mixer with the adults afterwards! Ms. Rosi and I were so proud. And it was fun to listen to the excitement and confidence that exuded from the children on the ride home. :-) Thank you to the dance club for this experience - your enthusiastic support is so appreciated, the children benefited greatly from watching the adults dance, and your patience with them during the mixer was superb. Finally, thank you to Ms. Donna, volunteer extraordinaire, and to all the parents for making this evening possible.

Second Saturday Dances for Youth/Teens are becoming more popular! Had 32 students in the West Coast Swing lesson on May 11th. What a blast!

Although Travis has unfortunately parted from The Dance Place, we will still be offering dance lessons and will continue work on our mission of serving youth - after a very brief break. The studio plans to re-open nexr week (and definitely no later than April 1st). Please check back here or watch your email for updates.

Looking for something to do on Saturday night? Meet your friends at the dance! You can bring your favorite (clean) music on CD, iPod, or phone and the dj will play it. Dance is 7:30 - 10:00 pm Sat, July 9th Admission is $10.00 OR
Come to the free West Coast Swing lesson at 6:30 pm and admission to the dance is reduced to only $5.00!
