17 of our Juggernauts placed and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

Vicente Varela was a four-time New Mexico State champion at Rio Rancho (NM) High School...Posted a 56-0 record with 52 pins-both school records- as a senior...Named New Mexico High School Athlete of the Year in 2007...2007 USA Dream Team member selected for top wrestler in the nation. Selected as the 18th-ranked overall all weight classes recruit in the nation in 2007 and ranked 1/2 among the All-Class National Rankings...2006 National High School champion...Placed third at the 2007 High School Senior Nationals earning All-America honors...Finished third in Fargo in 2006 to also earn All-America honors. Became a division one NCAA qualifier and academic all American. Competed at both Arizona State University and Hofstra University where he was ranked in the top 20 at 141lbs.
