Marine Boot Camp | Company Inspection

Marine Corps. Boot Camp was/is something that Marines don't talk about really. "This one time at boot camp....." "shut up you nerd." I've been on both ends of that conversation... it was and has continued to be something that I share with only a few. To say it hasn't been a pivotal part of my life or to neglect it's value would be an injustice. It was the first time many (not me personally) of us had a family. The first time many of us came close to wearing a business suit and learned how to be "professional." It was the first time many of us had ever come close to leaving home. It was the first time many of us had father figures or role models. The first for team work and learning the importance of unit effort and cohesion. The first time being a member of something larger than oneself or the first time someone left their hometown. I could expand upon this for days. Ultimately we all start somewhere and we all start fresh. No black or white. No brown or yellow. Not Catholic or atheist. Brothers. In it for each other and in it for survival. I'm always willing to raise my glass of whiskey for those replacing the ranks. Don't forget the fallen. Don't forget your future. Make it better for your peers and those who will inevitably replace you because you've moved on. To 1st civ div or heaven. Make it better by being better. It is your duty, obligation, and responsibility to be successful.

We've been getting a lot of questions about military exercises lately. Specifically ones that are conducted within our country's borders. As a cadre with a background in special operations and law enforcement, we'd like to calm the masses. Always be ready for whatever but we strongly believe that the freedoms we all enjoy daily are not threatened by those who are sworn to protect those freedoms. We love America and her people. In fact we believe America's citizens should rest easy at night knowing that those of us who no longer serve in an official military capacity that our oath continues until our passing. We're here to train our brothers and sisters to a standard that mirrors our own. We've fought, shed blood, and sacrificed everyday to a limit only few will know or understand. The more we have on our side ready to protect themselves and their loved ones the better. We want to take the self taught and make them better. We're patriots making skilled critical thinking craftsmen. We add the intangibles. Let's be better today than we were yesterday and even better tomorrow. Training for the false summit.
