The high school rugby season is quickly coming to an end... much too soon for our seniors. With that in mind we have two seniors that we truly need to say THANK YOU to for being such great ambassadors to the sport. Akong and Bohdi, the City of Rio Rancho Rugby appreciates you and your contributions to the Club. We look forward to the stories vou will write in your next chapter of life at New Mexico Tech and New Mexico State University.

The next City of Rio Rancho Rugby senior highlight is Bohdi. Bohdi has grown up in the Club and has been a leader on and off the field throughout his membership. Thank you Bohdi for your dedication to the sport and hope that you continue this love for rugby while at New Mexico State University. Best of luck, we will miss you!

Growth only happens outside of the comfort zone! The New Mexico Select Desert Warriors sent out an AWESOME u16 team even if they were on the young side. They got in there and got to the finish line in 2 games of 10's rugby. They came home with 2 loses but the spirit they showed warmed the heart! They are going to grow so much from this amazing experience both in their personal lives and their rugby lives! We were able to send 5 of our Rio Rancho Boys out and we are so proud of them! Help me congratulate them❤❤

Our U19 New Mexico Select Warriors did AMAZING this last weekend in Arizona. We played a game of 15's and we WON! Our Wonderful club was able to send 8 boys to go compete and not only represent our amazing state if New Mexico, they were able to do it WELL!

Our New Mexico Select Desert Warrioress did PHENOMENAL this last weekend playing against the Arizona bobcats! They did so well as a team and decided to get out there and play some fantastic rugby! Four of our Rio Rancho girls made the team and played 3 games of phenominal rugby! They won 2 games and lost 1. We have such a strong team coming in this year!
