Hey Parents!

Returning Wrestler Registration will be Sept 12-18! New Wrestler Registration will be Sept 19-25. Obviously new sibling wrestlers are considered returning, so please sign them up during that time.

Our Season will run October 17, 2022- March 4, 2023
Practices will be Tuesday- Friday 6-7:30pm.

**AGES: 6-15 (Any Athlete under 6 will require a full time Parent Volunteer, NO EXCUSES)

Gear Package will Also be available for purchase at a later date but not mandatory.

We know everyone is getting impatient and ready for the upcoming season. At this time RRPS are still not allowing youth sports in their facilities. Today is a BIG DAY for Storm and Thunder Wrestlers! ⚡️Good Luck to our HS Wrestlers this morning as they compete in their district tournament today! Bring 14 to State! Also, Congrats to the girls yesterday who competed in their first ever Girls District Championships! Thunder also has their State Championship Tournament Today and Tomorrow! Let’s go Storm! ⚡️⚡️

Congrats to Josh Ortega on taking first place tonight at the Rio Rancho Southwest Shootout!

2nd state qualifier of the year.
There have been some key changes:
15U boys and girls will weigh in Saturday (12/7) in RR cafeteria from 2-3pm and 15U boys/girls will wrestle Saturday (12/7) at 6pm.
Weigh ins for all other wrestlers will be 3-5pm in RR cafeteria, with NO weigh ins the morning of the tournament.

TWC is very proud of all our wrestlers and coaches that went to Panhandles National Tournament in Amarillo. Thank you for representing us.

New Mexico becomes 18th state to sanction girls high school wrestling This year, New Mexicans can expect some big changes for high school athletes, especially when it comes to wrestling

T-5 days until the first tournament of the season.

Thank You to everyone who participated in the 1st annual TWC Corn hole tournament, it was a huge success! Because of everyone’s kindness and generosity we exceeded our goal.

A HUGE shoutout to The LOCAL Brewhouse for allowing us to have our tournament there and providing all the raffle prizes.

Hopefully everyone had as much fun as we did.
