Tonight, we're closing the season with a little magic at Smithville Lake.

Witch' s Paddle Under the Full Moon | September 24

One final evening on the water.
One final paddle.
One final chance to watch the sky change from our boards.
And one whole class of witches.

Smithville has given us some unforgettable moments this season—beautiful sunsets, calm water, sailboats, wildlife, laughter, headstands, wipeouts and plenty of stories that followed us back to shore.

Tonight, we celebrate all of it.

Last night, the witches took over Lake Jacomo for one final night of our 2026 season.

We paddled. We moon bathed. We cackled across the water. We dressed the part, embraced the witchy energy and closed out an entire summer exactly the way we should have—together on the lake.

Last night, our paddleboards became broomsticks and we were witches under the moon.

Even Gary, our talking Great Blue Heron, made an appearance to see us off—and the Park Ranger made sure to wish us a great off-season before we left 🧙

It felt like the perfect Lake Jacomo goodbye.

There is something so bittersweet about that final paddle back to shore. Jacomo has given us another season of incredible sunsets, moonrises, sailboats, regattas, falls, firsts, laughter, friendships and so many hours spent freeing our minds on the water.

Last night wasn’t just our Witches Paddle.

It was our final Lake Jacomo paddle of 2026.

Thank you to every single person who stepped onto a board with us this season. Whether you joined us once or spent your entire summer on the water with us, you became part of this little community we’ve created.

Lake Jacomo, that’s a wrap on 2026.

Gary said goodbye.

The Park Ranger sent us off…thank you…..weekly. For making sure we leave. 😂

The witches are coming to Lake Jacomo.

Sailboats in the cove. Paddleboards on the water. Witch hats everywhere. The Full Moon rising over one of our favorite places to practice.

This might be one of the most beautifully strange nights we spend at Jacomo all season.
And we're looking for a Witch who's ready to give us a moment worth sharing.

Last night, the witches took over Lake Olathe for one final night of our 2026 season.

Maybe you want to teach it.

Our October Board With Yoga® Teacher Training is also an opportunity for us to meet and mentor people who may be interested in joining our instructor team in future seasons.
Graduates may receive consideration for future Board With Yoga® teaching opportunities based on readiness, performance, availability and alignment with our teaching standards.
Our instructors earn $60–$150 per class depending on participation, and instructors who provide their own paddleboard receive a free summer class pass.
Training does not guarantee an instructor position—but if you've watched our classes this summer and thought,
