A new racing journey calls for a new look. K1 RaceGear knocked this project out of the park with royal blue and flo orange!

Thank you Willy's for such a fast turnaround on our carburetor rebuild and dyno!

Unfortunately, because of some new developments regarding Brad's health. He will not be able to debut in our IMCA Modified for a little while. He intends to focus on getting himself better. With what is happening, strapping into a racecar could exacerbate those issues.

Brad will still be able to be present and turn some wrenches. We are open to putting someone in the car in the meantime. Whether you would like an opportunity, or need to stay in the points somewhere in the Michigan area.

This is the 2026 season schedule for Skusa Racing!

This schedule is categorized by PRIMARY and SECONDARY race dates. Primary race dates are in blue, secondary race dates are in red. These dates may change if tracks shift their schedules around a bit.

In the event of a race night cancellation, we will go to the secondary event listed on the schedule. If all secondary events for that weekend have been cancelled, then it's just an off-week for us and will go to the next secondary or primary race event the following week.

Merritt Speedway has published their schedule for 2026!

We’re excited to share our 2026 schedule and have a lot of great events planned for the upcoming season.

Memorial Day weekend, we will have our traditional two-day show, with the Late Models running two separate events.

On June 20, we will be racing during the Dan Salay Memorial. Late Models will be non-points that night. Any Late Models not attending the Dan Salay memorial are welcome to come race with us. It should be a fun night with Australian Pursuits, a 4-car dash, heats, and features.

On July 2, we will have the Joe Wood Memorial Factory Stock Special in honor of my brother, paying $2,000 to win. We are also excited to have the Great Lakes Traditional Sprints and Lightning Sprints joining us that night.

Out of respect for the Friday night tracks, we will take July 3 off.
Then on July 4th, we will have our spectacular fireworks display, as well as all divisions racing.
After that, we move into the 38th annual Wood Tic. On Thursday, July 23, we will race the IMCA special along with a $2,000 to win Factory Stock special. That evening, we will also have a 30-minute practice session for the Late Models during the show. The driver with the fastest lap during that session will win $500 and a guaranteed spot in the Wood Tic.

The Wood Tic will then take place on July 24 and 25.

We will also have a Late Model special on August 8, paying $2,500 to win.

We will wrap up the season on September 5 with Gene Kregar Championship Night on Labor Day weekend.

We are looking forward to a great 2026 season as we continue working to make Merritt Michigan’s premier dirt track again.
