🧡🖤❤️ UNITY DAY at Spirit Prep!

Did you know? Unity Day began in 2011 through PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to unite communities against bullying.

Tomorrow we are wearing orange to stand together for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. At Spirit Prep, we stand against bullying—not just one day, but every day! 🧡

September 26th - Our athletes are selling movie night tickets 🎟️ come spend the evening with us, bring dinner, watch a movie with the family, and have popcorn on us! Saturday, September 26 6:30 PM at our facility.

October 17th - Come dressed up in your best costume for a trunk or treat event located in the center parking lot 🎃We’ve partnered with other businesses in our business center to provide a Halloween trunk-or-treat event free of charge for our local community 🧡 If you are interested in setting up a booth or decorating a vehicle to pass out candy, please reach out to us. We would love to have you. 😁

The Spirit staff is asking for a little extra love from our Spirit Families for one of our athletes 💜

Our sweet Amiah was hurt in an accident and is now spending time recovering. Spirit coaches will be taking all the wonderful notes to her Saturday at the hospital to cover her and her family with extra love and support.

Introducing our sweet Coach Alondra 🎀

Coach Alondra started cheering at 11 years old with an all star team and continued thru high school. She says, “I was pretty sporty and tried other sports but always stuck to cheer. I started coaching a bit on my team as a senior, and now I’m coaching young talented athletes at Spirit Prep, installing the passion for the sport the same way as my coaches did for me.”

WHO WE ARE WEDNESDAY IS BACK - & today we are bragging on Coach Bella 👑

She’s been dancing since she was 3 years old and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from Cal State Fullerton. 👏🏼 she says. “Dance has been such a meaningful part of my life, and one of my favorite things is being able to share that passion with the next generation of dancers. I love helping students build confidence, find their individuality, and most importantly, have fun while they grow! 🩰✨ Outside of the studio, you can find me creating, performing, exploring new things, and always looking for ways to keep growing as an artist. I can’t wait to dance with you! ”

Welcome to WHO WE ARE WEDNESDAYS! 👏

This is where we introduce you to the staff at Spirit Preparatory, and show you that we are more than just “coaches.” We are individuals with a passion for the cheer industry, are rooted in athlete development, and genuinely love being a part of your journey with us at Spirit Preparatory ❤️

This week we are shining a light on Coach “J” 💫

Coach J has been involved in cheer for 8 years, including 3 years in college. She says, “Cheer has truly transformed me into the person I am today. Throughout the years, it has been my peace, my happy place, and a place that felt like home. My favorite thing about coaching is seeing the kids faces light up when they learn a new skill. I love watching them grow each day, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy coming to practice. Seeing their progress and knowing I get to be a part of that journey is so rewarding. Outside of work, I’m a Special Education Assistant at an elementary school. I absolutely love working with kids and being able to make a positive impact in their lives, both through education and cheer.” 🙌
