Sometimes, you gotta climb.
The Menโs Olympic Water Polo team found themselves with a tough hand and now faced with the challenge to climb onto the podium. Here, they have been challenged by to climb these stairs as an expression of climbing to their desired outcomes in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which is gonna take more work, which they certainly have in them. These are the moments theyโve trained for!

ran into this giant human while taking USAโs Menโs Olympic Water Polo team through a quick lift in the Olympic Athleteโs Village. Can you guess what sport he participates in? To be clear, heโs 6โ8โ and 287 lbs.

There are championship rings, and then there are Olympic rings.
Many donโt realize the value of the Olympics, except when the media starts to blast Olympic content leading up to the quadrennial event. But itโs what you do the other 3 years that is most critical. And this is why there is much to say about Olympians, all of whom are high performers. They donโt spend much time in the the spotlight or center stage. In fact, if most Olympians walked past you today in the grocery store or gas station, youโd probably walk right past them. But these folks are special humans. Showing up when no one else is around. Not requiring the best facilities to train in/on. Intrinsically motivated and not driven primary by fame, finances, or other frills. So while there will be some disappointment that there will be no spectators, these athletes never competed for spectators any way. They compete for themselves, the love of their sport, and their supporters, not to be confused with spectators and/or fans.
This is the epitome of high performance. An Olympic state of mind.
We desire to help and support people to realize these values of Olympians, while also challenging and supporting them to compete in life, beyond any sport.

Mental skills.
Itโs really a thing. I havenโt met one high-performer whose mental skills are not as sharp as their physical performance skills. Iโd argue that you canโt have one without the other. If you desire to perform at high levels, it is imperative for you to get your mental weight up. They say donโt skip leg day, but also, donโt skip โheadโ day ensuring your are working on your mental skills.

USAโs Menโs Water Polo team wrapped up one final week of pre-Game lifting, before they move in to the athlete village in Tokyo and start making withdrawals from all the deposits theyโve made up until now. has been reminding the fellas that you canโt take out what you donโt put in, but after making the constant deposits, the boys can write some fat checks that should pay big dividends.
