While using some of the Top 6 clinching drills we went over in the previous video we are now looking to execute something now that we have them off balance and vulnerable for strikes, sweeps and dumps. In this video we go over 3 of many sweeps and dumps after the set up, Chad has used many of these in fights and they work. He likes to throw people around while I like to elbow in the clinch… whatever your poison these drills will help you execute 🩸 Chad Rensi

If you're training the right way for this sport, you're always going to have some sort of injury. Learn to deal with it, or maybe fighting is not for you. This is what separates fighters from everyone else. You learn to endure, adapt and overcome. 🙏

Parrying the punch into an elbow. There are many different ways to use parry’s into elbows, same arm same elbow, same arm opposite elbow, etc…. This is just one. I like using my same hand to Perry then throw, if you’re fast enough and you’re not dropping your hand too low when you perry really nice short, step in sneaky elbows are there for you. 🩸 🙏 blo

The Top 6 os a clinching drill we work at True Love Muay Thai and is a staple in our sessions. 6 clinching techniques to help you counter, time and off balance your opponent. Work them from both sides. Strikes are always a solid follow up from any one of these techniques once your opponent is off balance and their posture is broken. Once you get comfortable with the footwork and mechanics of these six techniques, there are plenty of variations You can start playing with from there. Once comfortable you should be flowing through all 6 of these techniques at a time while your partner is giving some resistance but still letting you work then switching. 🙏
