It’s missing one detail that will be applied in a few days, but otherwise this restoration is complete and ready to go for a wonderfully blissful ride. Thanks to SSS Ink for the decals.

1960s Bottechia getting close to the end of a full restoration of components with fresh paint and decals. Fresh 630-32 tires, new spokes, cables, housing and waiting on that fresh white cotton tape to be wrapped.

Objects of Contemplation.

The clear coat is on and all those decals are locked away and safe. This will get some time and then the re-assembly will start. Plenty of clean up and a few new parts will be needed to bring this Bottecchia up to a show level.

Adding those oh so difficult decals to give this its name back. Yes difficult.. don’t believe me, come on over and you can do it.

Restorations, keeping that chrome lug bright while the electric green does the rest.

This one is a House Blend of tubes to create the end product. Curves and lines to make this one stand out just a bit more. A Red and Blue paint scheme with some metal flake to help the sun show off. A few splatters at the seat cluster .. well why not ?

In case you were unable to attend the@PhillyBikeExpo in mid-March this Dogwood was sitting quietly on one side of our booth. Meet Panko, Reynolds tubing and lots of bi-laminate joints. The component group is mostly NOS/NIB Suntour Sprint with some Superbe and Cyclone added.

Cornus Kousa or Kousa Dogwood also known as Korean Dogwood, Chinese Dogwood or Japanese Dogwood. The pink is part of the normal for Kousa dogwood.
