With yesterday’s posting of a track bicycle. Here’s another from the “ STORE “ page on the website ( link in bio ).

This track bicycle is built with Columbus HSS top tube and down tube, multi-shape with ovalized ends to increase strength and responsiveness. Polished stainless steel seat stays, Columbus carbon Pista track fork.

This was used briefly by a sponsored rider but things happened and wasn’t able to fulfill the requirements. His and my efforts can be your Velodrome ride or a very cool road fixie ( no brakes ).

Price is for the complete bicycle as it sits. Shipping is additional or pick up locally.

Miele “ Elite “ in light mint green metallic and freshly painted logos.

Restored to like new condition with Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 group, Mavic Cosmic Pro wheels, American Classic seat post, Cinelli handlebars & stem and a Selle Italia Turbomatic saddle in white.

I think that does a solid period correct road racing bicycle.

Yes, needs a saddle, pedals and shifters ( all on the way ), but you can see the way things will be shortly. Fully restored early 90s Miele Elite road bicycle with full Shimano Dura-Ace group.
Freshly repainted in a soft metallic mint green. New labels with the Italian flag logos, Columbus tubing and new fork.

There are time when other frame builders need to get some cosmetic ( paint ) attention. This is a builder in Baltimore named SOBO Bikes. I like see other builders work and how they want their efforts to be painted. I like being part of this small community of bicycle frame builders and painters. Thank you SOBO Bikes.

That trip to the paint shop hurt. .. don’t ask. But both 5 gal cans were needed along with 100 mixing cups. “ A Years Supply “ they said, I gunna test that sales pitch.

It’s taken some time to collect all the needed bit and pieces to finish this 1960s Botecchia. But here it is, Campagnolo components, fresh paint and decals, new white handle bar tape even happened.

First photo - the frame, 2nd photo the new fork. It’s not 100% the same ( I’ll adjust in the near future ). This is a fork tip that will be getting added to the frame that is being restored. Paint will be soon.

It’s missing one detail that will be applied in a few days, but otherwise this restoration is complete and ready to go for a wonderfully blissful ride. Thanks to SSS Ink for the decals.

1960s Bottechia getting close to the end of a full restoration of components with fresh paint and decals. Fresh 630-32 tires, new spokes, cables, housing and waiting on that fresh white cotton tape to be wrapped.
