Volunteers are needed for Spring Break track meets at Myrtle Beach’s Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium… The two big college track meets in March 2023 are the Collegiate Challenge, March 10-11, and the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, March 16-18, with competitors from around the country. The Sports Tourism Division welcomes you to assist with these events. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, and those who are 18 and older are required to pass a background check. Volunteers should prepare for all types of weather, and wear khaki shorts or pants with tennis shoes. Each volunteer receives a t-shirt, food and beverages during the event. Most shifts are scheduled in four-hour increments. To learn more and sign up, send an email to [email protected].
