Spring is in full swing!!🌷

Lessons have finally begun after a long and miserable winter. It's nice to have so much activity on the farm again (I think Dodger may be the happiest one)!

-Ace has returned from his off-season lease. HUGE Thank You to the White family at Whitney Hill Farm for loving on him and taking such great care of him!

-Troy has moved on to his new home, and is doing really well. He was a critical member of the program for many years, and he certainly deserved a more low key situation. He will be missed by many people.

-Topaz, Arby, and newcomer Dee are being enjoyed by all their riders. Maybe there will be some more new additions to the lesson horse team this year!

**Colleen's lesson schedule is currently FULL! But we are excited to announce the addition of a part-time instructor which will enable us to accept more beginner young riders!***

Putting some feelers out there, as I am looking to find Troy a new home. I am not interested in selling him to another lesson program. He's been a key contributor to my program for the past 7 years, and I think he would appreciate an easier life in a private, flatwork only home.
The Good: He is as safe as a horse can get, rank beginners of all ages, sizes, and confidence levels have ridden him countless times. He'll trail ride alone or with others. He's given pony rides at carnivals. I use him for introductory vaulting lessons. He'll be 19 next year, around 16.1 and 1400lbs, barefoot, easy keeper, can live out 24/7 or be stalled at night. All the excellent ground manners that my lesson horses have, he'll stand tied forever, clips, loads, perfect for farrier and vet, zero vices.
The Bad: He needs an electric fence that's good and hot. He acts like a stud if turned out with mares in heat, and he can be a real jerk to a gelding he thinks is sexier than him. He appreciates some Equioxx.

He is not free, as he is definitely still capable of holding down a ridden job of some kind. I am not in a hurry to sell him, finding the best match is most important. Message me for details, I would love to keep talking about him to anyone seriously interested. I am also open to trades, as I will be looking for another lesson horse prospect.

Arby and his little rider, perfectly leading a trail ride. This summer has definitely been a hot one πŸ₯΅. Escaping to our shaded trails helps keep everyone more comfortable.πŸŒ³πŸ‡
