Iconoglass 868 and simple Tire silk wraps... 2/4 sections done.

My latest custom fly rod is available! 8' 5wt perfect for upper Midwestern trout waters. This NFC Iconoglass build features a Struble pepper reel seat, Mildrum stripper, black hardware, and amber silk thread accented in red and black. Also included is an aluminum case and a handmade bag sewn in my shop.

This rod package will be available at the 2nd annual Huddy's Hike benefit event on 6/8. All proceeds support and awareness for sudden unexplained death of children.

This rod landed a lot of fish before I considered it complete. Olympic green IM6, engraved cedar grip and reel seat by Archie McCarty, agate, 2nd Mildrum-style stripper, and Snake Brand guides. Finished in dark green with copper tipping and a custom bag in matching green flannel.
