Off Broadway On Campus (OBOC)

For our final Senior Spotlight: Jonah Stapels!! If OBOC had a mascot, it would be Jonah Stapels. Jonah has spent his college years dedicated to OBOC: recruiting new members, playing drums in the pit, and slaying on the stage! We are heartbroken to let Jonah go because while he is an amazing performer, he is also a wonderful person to be around. Good luck at grad school Jonah, we’ll miss you!!

This next Spotlight is for someone who has done so much for OBOC, Sasha Lifchez!! Sasha has spent their whole college experience with OBOC, helping manage our club as the Vice President for a big chunk of it! Sasha, on top of being incredibly talented, has a great sense of humor and was always available to help if someone needed it! We’re really gonna miss you Sasha, we can’t wait to see what you do next!!!

Now we move to our next Senior Spotlight: April Wang!! April has played such a crucial role in our pit orchestra, being the pit conductor for so long and being so insanely talented that she can fill in for a variety of different instruments! The pit isn’t going to be the same next semester without April’s humor and spirit, but we are super excited to see what she does in the future, whether it be music related or not!

Time for one last party before we start finals week! OBOC members, join us for a decades themed event where you can relax and celebrate! 🪩💿✌🏻🌼

Our next spotlight is for Will Seastrand!!! Will has been in our pit for what seems like forever, whether it’s shredding on the guitar or spontaneously picking up the drums. For the first time this year, Will joined the cast and we wish he had done so sooner because aside from his amazing guitar skills, Will is a very talented performer! We wish we could keep you longer Will, but we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Onto the next senior spotlight: Winter Nakhwa! Winter joined OBOC last year, and has been such a funny and hardworking addition to our cast. Whether it’s from all of the inside jokes during rehearsals or her hilarious on stage performances, Winter will be greatly missed in OBOC. We can’t wait to see what you do next!

Next up is Lucy Liu! It’s sad to see our president go, but Lucy is such a talented and hard working person and it wouldn’t be fair to keep her to ourselves. We already knew Lucy would go on to do great things, so we were delighted to hear that she has decided to continue her studies here while remaining a part of OBOC!

For Senior Spotlight #3 we have Javier Pardo! Javy joined us this semester and left us speechless after the opening number! We’re sad to have only had him for one show, but grateful that we got to share the stage with him! We can’t wait to see the amazing things you go on to do Javy!

Next up is Alex Holly! Alex is such a fun and talented person and we were so sad about their graduating, until we found out that Alex is returning to OBOC next semester as a Take 5 student! We are beyond grateful to have someone like Alex in our club and we know they will continue to shine both in their studies and on the stage!!
