What is your identity found in?

While I was playing division one soccer at Liberty University, my identity was in the game. My performance would determine my mood. Not only in games but also from trainings. The pressure would distract me so much from my relationship with Jesus.

Through discipleship and an encounter with the Holy Spirit I was able prioritize my relationship with Jesus. I learned that the only thing that mattered on this life was our relationships with people and God.

It will always be a daily battle to surrender your sport to God, but it is worth it! ✝️

From Glory To Glory.

This photo is powerful. As Man City is celebrating after they won the Carabao Cup, Jeremy Doku kneels down to praise Jesus. Instead of receiving the glory for himself he gives it all to God.

He posted on his instagram Proverbs 21:31 “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”

That’s our mission as believers on this earth. We must realize that this world is our temporary home. Before Jesus was returned back to heaven he left us with a clear message. He commanded that we share the Gospel of Jesus coming down to earth to save us from our sin.
