We are excited to welcome our new member, Jason Vasquez!

Mr. Vasquez is originally from Brooklyn, New York and is currently the CEO at of the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester. He emphasizes that since arriving in 2004, he has felt embraced by the community and enjoyed building new roots here. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys music, viewing it as a creative outlet and a way to bring people together. He used to DJ as a hobby and had the opportunity to travel and perform throughout different states and countries.

"My family and I chose Irondequoit Country Club because of its strong sense of community, family atmosphere, and the meaningful overlap between so many individuals and families connected to the JCC and greater Rochester community. From the very beginning, ICC held a special place in my heart, especially as one of my first community welcome events after relocating to Rochester was hosted there. It immediately felt like a place built around relationships, connection, and shared experiences, which deeply resonated with us. We’re most looking forward to continuing to meet great people, spending time together as a family, and creating lasting memories for years to come."

Today we honor the legacy of Dr. Patrick Brophy, as the 3rd annual memorial tournament is held at Irondequoit Country Club.

Dr. Brophy was a celebrated pediatric nephrologist and beloved ICC member who served as Chair of Pediatrics and Physician-in-Chief at Golissano Children's Hospital. He was widely recognized for his leadership, compassion, and dedication to advancing pediatric care for children and families throughout our community.

Sadly, after a long battle with lymphoma, Dr. Brophy passed away on October 6, 2023. The tournament is organized in his honor by a long time friend, Vincent Esposito, and has raised over $40K so far for the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Some golfers honor Dr. Brophy by wearing hockey jerseys, a tribute to his Canadian roots and love of the game.

Dr. Patrick Brophy's impact continues to be felt today and we are proud to be part of a day that brings people together in his memory through the game he loved.

After renovations last year, we are excited to share the Recreation Center with you!

Located among the tennis, pickleball, and paddle courts, this space provides a social hub for members to watch matches or relax between games. The building offers panoramic views, an elevated deck with firepits, a golf simulator, and a spacious indoor lounge.
