ChiliCares is proud to host a Community Shoe Drive supporting Soles4Souls throughout the month of June 2026.

We are collecting new and gently worn shoes to help give them new purpose. Donations support Soles4Souls’ 4Opportunity program, which helps create sustainable economic opportunities for families facing hardship by turning donated shoes into resources for small businesses around the world.

Soles4Souls also helps bring brand-new shoes directly back into communities through the 4EveryKid program. Locally, that impact was recently felt when 100 brand-new pairs of shoes were donated to Discovery School in Rochester, NY.

Please donate shoes that are clean, wearable, and paired together.

For five years, the Chili Community Center has brought people together through programs, events, wellness, sports, creativity, and community spirit. Behind every membership scan, class registration, and visit is a personal story that helps define who we are. Here is one of those stories.

What makes the Chili Community Center special? Ask the people who spend their days here building friendships, finding support, staying active, learning new things, and connecting with neighbors. As part of our 5th Anniversary celebration, we’re excited to highlight stories from our community.

Over the last 5 years, the Chili Community Center has become a hub for recreation, wellness, friendships, learning, and community connection. Today we’re sharing another story from someone who has helped make the CCC feel like home.

Members can enjoy complimentary lemonade and pretzels from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM while supplies last. Thank you for being part of everything that makes the CCC such a special community space.

Collecting gently used sporting equipment to help kids in under-resourced communities access youth sports.
