The kids are having a great weekend with best times, great swims and fun on deck! Go Rapids!

Wonderful evening celebrating the hard work of our swimmers and coaches this fall at our holiday potluck celebration, which also included warm wishes for Coach Hannah as she expects twins soon and Coach Caleb as he prepares for his Marines deployment. So thankful for the wonderful families and coaches that make the Rapids such a great team.

The Rochester Rapids Swim Team partnered with the Fairport Area Swim Team to host an outstanding outdoor long- course meet at the Genesee Valley Park Pool with 175 athletes. For the first time, we used the City of Rochester, NY's new Colorado Timing System, purchased through a New York State grant, to record some fast times! The weather cooperated with the final races under the lights on a beautiful night of swimming. Thank you to the area teams that attended, and we look forward to a continued meet partnership with FAST to host more meets outdoors in 2026.

So proud to be part of the Rochester Rapids Swim Team which hosted another meet at East High School with over 100 swimmers. A big thank you to our parent volunteers and officials from the area as we promote swimming in the . Thank you to our partner host for opening your pool doors to us again.

The Rochester Rapids Swim Team is growing and we're looking to hire a new assistant coach part-time especially to work with our younger and mid-level swimmers.
