Bocce League of Rochester

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hey, Leaguers! We’ve finally secured our field lease, but due to the current lake levels and flooding forecast we’re forced to postpone the spring league this year. We need to focus on fortifying our house and the timing couldn’t be any worse for our usual late May start date. We’ve decided to push the start date back to June 23rd and extend the season to 9 weeks of regular season gameplay. We’ll have our final tournament (week 10) on August 25th. One BIG awesome season! We’ve lowered the cost per week a bit and set the price at $500 per team of 4-6 players.

We’re really hoping that we’re not underwater come June and that this works out better for most of you. I plan to open up registration once the updates are made to the website and will post a link here asap.

Sorry for any inconvenience this causes any of you. I know everyone is just as excited to get back out there as we are.

Hey, Ballers! We hope everyone had a great off season! We’re excited to get back outside and play some bocce again. We’re currently working on getting our field use permit approved from the county parks department and if everything goes well we’ll be opening up spring registration within the next couple weeks. We’re hoping to start league up right after Lilac Fest concludes at the end of May. I’ll drop a link here to our 2026 registration page as soon as we have our permit. Hope to see everyone out there soon!

Underdog Champs did it again!! Congrats to the undisputed Bocce League champions of 2025! They entered the tourney in 6th place overall and just like last season they rolled over the competition to claim the title of back-to-back champs! Our runner up, Grassy Balls II deserves an honorable mention. They put on a show for us this season and earned the title of most improved team.

It’s been a GREAT season! Thank you to everyone who joined us this year. We had a lot of fun watching you all have a good time out there and can’t wait to see you all again next spring. Thank you once again to Three Heads Brewing for continuing to support our league and keeping us “hydrated”

It’s almost time to see which team has bragging rights until next Spring! The weather looks absolutely perfect! The top 12 teams are in it to win it. The top 4 seeded teams will automatically advance to the second round. Games will be played up to 10 points or whomever’s in the lead after 20min. The championship round will be played up to 10 points with no time limit. Good luck to everyone. We’ll see you soon!!

Here’s our final 12 teams that qualified for this years last payoff round. Congrats to all teams that made it through. Thank you for another great bocce season to all teams that didn’t make the cut.

Next Tuesday we roll to see who brings home the 2025 championship. Toss It Like It’s Hot will be shooting for a perfect season.

Hey, League! It’s a GREAT day for Bocce! Today is the last day of our regular season. We’ll be rolling a double header to determine what 12 teams make the final cut for our year end tournament next week. There’s quite a few teams on the bubble. We’re fully expecting some upsets and some Cinderella stories tonight. See you all out there at 6!

The weather took a turn for the worse. It looks like it’s going to rain the entire time we’re on the field tonight. Unfortunately bocce is canceled. We’ll roll a double next week!

It’s double header night! It looks like we might get a little rain, but no thunderstorm threat this week, so we’ll see you all out there at 6 as long as the weather cooperates.

HEYYY BALLERS! We had our Cinderella story after all! Congrats to our 2025 Spring league champs, The Cruisers!! They were our 15th seed and hungry for a win (literally, starving for Romigs wings after game 4🤣 ) On the way to the top they managed to send some of our best teams to the bar early. The final matchup against 5x champs Steve and Tia from Toss It Like It’s Hot was a battle. In the end, they fought through unbearable stomach pain and etched their name into BLOR history Well done, Cruisers!!!

We want to thank you all for making this league so fun. We love all of you guys! Enjoy the week off. We’re already looking forward to next season. We hope to see all of you back out on the battlefield ✌🏼

Here it is, folks! Finals are next week and the bracket is set. Ball Busters Inc are going for a perfect season. They are currently undefeated.
