The boys headed north to East Moline BMX yesterday for the last Illinois state qualifier of the year.

Cade went 4-4-4 for 4th overall yesterday
Dad went 3-2-1 for 2nd overall

We’ll let the points update and see where we’re sitting going into championship weekend! It’s been a fun year! A lot of up’s and downs for Cade but we’ll finish strong in a month at The Hill in Elgin for the championships!

Cade got himself back into the main today and were beyond proud of that! Earned himself a pretty sweet trophy!

Dad put himself into the main and finished with a good battle to the line to end up 3rd 🥉

Midwest nationals post 🏁

Cade is hung up on his own mental battles for the moment and missed mains all weekend. His last lap of the weekend was his best lap once again. Just not enough to make the mains. A little frustrating for him as it should be, that shows he wants more for himself. Mom and dad are always proud when he puts in the effort!

Dad came into the weekend with plans to win Friday and get bumped into the new class. Won moto 1 Friday to transfer straight to the main. Main time had a good start, fell back into 2nd and took the lead back for my last win and move up in classes!

Saturday and Sunday goal was to make mains, and checked that box off! Mistakes for an 8th on Saturday. Pulled off a 5th in the main today with some fast guys!

Had a blast all weekend long, learned a lot, dad’s bank account took a hammering 🤣
Weekends like these are worth every dollar!Watching these crazy kids of ours run around, dirt covered, faces dirty from all the food and snacks! Wouldn’t trade this life for anything!

Cade went down pretty hard in the 3rd moto of open yesterday. A quick stop and last second decision to go back out for his main to salavage some points ended up being a 2nd for him! A big wreck happened to open the race up for him. Glad his homie Roczen was ok after that! These boys both pushed through after their wrecks and finished 💪🏼

Made a bike change and Cades speed is back from last season! We’re excited to see what the next 10 days has to offer 🏁🏁

Music city nationals wrap up! The biggest win of the weekend was Cade making his first intermediate nationals main!

Friday Cade struggled with nerves on this insane track. Ended his day short not making his main.

Saturday Cade rode quite a bit better but still fell short of that main event spot.

Sunday (today) he dug deep until the finish and snuck into the main at the finish line! First intermediate main and he had his best lap of the weekend hanging with the pack!

Dad joined these crazy bike races bc I’ll always be a kid a heart!

Headed to music city this week! Cade will line up with some fast kids for 3 days of racing in Nashville starting Friday!

Cade made his main this past weekend in Rockford for the state qualifier! He’s getting better, and adjusting to the faster class. All we ask is for effort and that’s what he showed yesterday! Starts and first straights are his weak link right now, track speed is good. We’ll continue to work and make awesome memories as a family 🏁
