As a result of the physical nature of the sport of hockey, it is important to learn the proper way to check and engage in solid body contact. The shift from not being able to check to checking being permitted is a major adjustment for many. We utilize our Spring Contact Clinic to assist skaters in making that adjustment as smooth as possible with the goal of not only preparing them, but also providing them an advantage during this crucial transition.
