BOMBERS 12U PRUNTY GOES 3-0!

The only thing stopping these girls yesterday was Mother Nature! Bombers Softball 12U Prunty went a perfect 3-0 at the DC Fastpitch Fall Opener at Tyger River Park before a huge downpour brought the tournament to an early end.

The Bombers hit an impressive .451 as a team on the day! Kailey Greer and Harper Greene led the way with 4 hits each, with both collecting extra-base hits.

Colbie Wilson and Harper Greene were absolute beasts behind the plate, combining for an elite 100% caught-stealing percentage and adding 2 pickoffs at first base!

Emily McAllister and Kailey Greer were forces in the circle, both throwing complete games and allowing just 1 run each!

The rain may have ended the tournament early, but it couldn’t take away from an incredible 3-0 day for these girls!

Congratulations to three of our Bombers who were selected by the umpires as MVPs during bracket play at the Top Gun All American Games over the weekend!

The team battled all weekend and finished **RUNNER-UP in their Bracket**, falling by just **2 runs in the Championship Game!** 🥈

💥 **GAME 1 MVP — Solomon Walker!** 💥

With the game tied in the final inning, Solomon stepped up and delivered the **biggest hit of the day** — a clutch double that drove in **3 runs** and put the team in front! 🔥⚾️

That’s what it’s all about: **stepping up when your team needs you most.**

Proud of the fight, the energy, and the way these boys competed all weekend!

Bombers Softball 12U Prunty brought home some sweet Top Gun Sports hardware on 8/22 and remains UNDEFEATED on the season!

This group continues to find ways to win, and Saturday was another total TEAM effort from start to finish!

🥎Colbie Wilson led the Bombers at the plate with 5 hits on the day, including 3 extra-base hits!

🥎Alleigh Sanders was absolutely dominant in the circle, throwing a COMPLETE GAME SHUTOUT with 5 strikeouts while allowing just ONE hit! Izzy DePaola was a BEAST behind the plate, locking things down and leading the defense from behind the dish!

🥎SEMIFINAL MVP — Harper Greene
Harper put on a defensive clinic at shortstop, making big play after big play when her team needed her! She was recognized by both umpires and her coaches for her performance.

🥎CHAMPIONSHIP MVP — Delaney Yocum
Talk about CLUTCH! With the championship game tied and 2 outs, Delaney stepped to the plate and delivered the WALK-OFF HIT to bring home the CHAMPIONSHIP!

This team continues to battle for each other, compete until the very last out, and prove that every single player has a role in our success.

Bombers Softball 14U Greene battled their way to a Runner-Up finish this weekend!

The girls faced some tough competition and even tougher heat, but they never backed down. They battled together, picked each other up, and fought all day long to earn their spot in the championship game. Great team effort from start to finish!

🥎Matilda Hinshaw went YARD, collecting her first home run of the season! Congratulations, Matilda!

Audrey delivered a huge performance in the circle during the semifinal game, pitching a complete game while allowing just 3 hits and 2 runs to help send her team to the championship!

What a way to kick off the Fall season! Bombers Softball 12U Prunty came out ready to compete today and finished the day a perfect 3-0, bringing home the Top Gun Sports Gold Bracket Championship!

This was a TOTAL TEAM EFFORT from start to finish. The girls put together great offensive performances at the plate, made big plays defensively, and battled for each other all day long.

🥎Jules Marsico led the Bombers in hits on the day and was a huge part of an offense that kept putting pressure on opposing defenses!

⚾A Week They’ll Never Forget⚾

From the moment these players arrived, they embraced every part of the experience. There was nonstop pin trading, plenty of bunkhouse shenanigans, unforgettable laughs, and friendships that grew even stronger throughout the week. They represented the Newport Bombers with class, sportsmanship, and pride every step of the way.

On the field, this team competed with heart. They launched home runs, turned in outstanding pitching performances, battled through every inning, and never stopped fighting. While the win and big moments on the diamond were exciting, the memories made with teammates, coaches, and families are what will be remembered most. These players shared an experience that few young athletes ever get to have, and it’s one they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.
