Season Finale cut short for the 13U Bomber Boys! Sometimes the toughest opponent isn’t across the diamond—it’s Mother Nature.

After battling their way to back-to-back bracket victories to earn a spot in the Silver Bracket Championship, the skies opened up and heavy rain made the field unplayable, forcing the remainder of the tournament to be canceled. Based on tournament seeding, the Bombers finished as Silver Bracket Runner-Up to close out their Spring 2026 season.

The boys wrapped up the weekend with a 3-1 record, showing the grit, determination, and resilience they’ve displayed all season long.

🔥 Tanner Madden earned MVP honors in the opening bracket game after throwing a complete game shutout, keeping the opposition off the scoreboard from first pitch to final out.

🔥 Brayden Martinsen took home MVP honors in the second bracket game after an outstanding performance at the plate. Brayden finished the weekend with an impressive .667 batting average.

While the championship game wasn’t decided on the field, these boys left no doubt about the heart and fight they bring every time they put on a Bombers uniform. We’re incredibly proud of this team, the way they competed all season, and the memories they created together.

Every single player on Bombers Baseball 11U King and Bombers Softball 12U Prunty earned an All-Star selection during the Spring 2026 season. That means 100% of both rosters were recognized for their performance, dedication, and love of the game throughout the season.

Achievements like this don’t happen by chance. They are the result of countless hours of practice, a commitment to getting better every day, supportive families, dedicated coaches, and teammates who push each other to be their best.

This recognition speaks volumes about the culture these teams have built—one centered on hard work, selflessness, resilience, and continuous growth. While individual honors are exciting, seeing every player earn this recognition is something truly special.

SEASON FINALE SUCCESS!

Bombers Softball 12U Prunty wrapped up their Spring season Friday night as the Top Gun Friday Night Lights Gold Bracket Runner-Up! The girls battled to a 3-1 record on the evening, falling by just one run in the championship game in an International Tie Breaker.

This team never quit and showed the fight and determination that defined their entire season!

🥎Willow Murner delivered a walk-off double in the team’s final pool play game and then blasted a two-run home run in the semifinals to help send the Bombers to the championship game.

🥎Pailyn Murner earned Semi-Final MVP honors with a stellar defensive performance at second base, making play after play when her team needed it most.

🥎Delaney Yocum was named Championship Game MVP for her team-first mentality, positive attitude, and unwavering support of her teammates all season long.

13U Bombers Battle to Perfect Game Gold Bracket Runner-Up Finish!

What a weekend for our 13U Bombers! The boys finished Runner-Up in the Perfect Game Gold Bracket, posting an impressive 3-1-1 record and showcasing heart, grit, and determination.

After battling through pool play, the Bombers caught fire in bracket play, knocking off the #2 seed and then the #3 seed in back-to-back games to punch their ticket to the Championship Game. Playing their third game of the day in nearly 100-degree heat, the team left everything on the field before falling just one run short in a hard-fought title game.

⚾️Tanner Madden was named MVPitcher for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Tanner finished as the #2 overall pitcher in the event, posting a 2.100 ERA and recording a shutout during pool play.

⚾️Cord Prunty finished the tournament ranked 6th overall in pitching, delivering big-time performances when his team needed him most.

⚾️Carter Smith finished ranked 10th overall in hitting, helping power the Bombers offense throughout the weekend.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group. Their resilience, toughness, and team-first mentality were on full display all weekend long.

The Bombers Girls brought the power to the Top Gun Turf Wars Tournament this weekend in Asheville, and these ladies put on a show at the plate!

Newport Bombers 12U Softball Smith Registration-Fall 2026 Season Player may not turn 13 before 9/1/27. The tryout location will be sent via email after registration is complete.

Tryouts are being held for the Rising fall 12u team, a well-established team with a scheduled trip to Cooperstown in summer 2027. We are considering all positions and would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and show you what we’re all about!
